Woah, that so justifies destroying wildy.RuneScape is better without all those immature people in the Wild."Foodnoob"
"Safe noob"
"DEFENCE NOOB" < I mean, wtf?
i believe it does
most of you players would critisize me but the whole point (and original meaning) of PK is a fight to the death with no rules. since everyone made such "rules", i only think it's fair that jagex punished them  . but hey, at least everyone can duel now with "rules" .now since most of you whiny children have "rules", why are you still complaining of the loss of a feature that wasn't meant for the abuse that was given to it by the avid runescape player.
back to the original topic, taking those skills away will just make them tick you off even more when they go for other skills because the moronic rs player population forced jagex to tick them of because the players ruined their jobs. plus, real world trading is good for any MMORPG. just look at WoW. 1 in 20 is a gold miner but i dont see all 9 million player going in turmoil for something that. it actually helps blizzard enticing another million every six months to waste their lives with some outdated 3D graphics from Warcraft 3(no offense to rs).

Like everything in life political motives push us too one direction.
It seems to me however that Runescape... and more precisely Jagex is centralist, rather than right or left wing.
generally they allow the economy to travel in it's natural direction, not punishing the rich or helping the poor. However when they wish to restore balance within the economy or raise or reduce prices they will release an update, or change the way something works which will bend it towards the desired direction.
They don't control the economy, but do their best to keep it stable, and balanced in a very centralist fashion.
bob here is right, runescape does have a centralist standpoint.
and isn't communism based on socialism?
and if runescape were based on the aforementioned two, wouldn't all the players have a some sort of monetary restrictions? socialism supports the abolishment of all classes based on wealth. and communism? well every person who instated it did it in a messed up fashion. in theory, it would work but then it would just be socialism with a different name

when i started playing playing runescape, i felt like playing a true mmorpg. questing, gaining money to better my character or trying to tackle the strongest monster could find and kill(sadly this was mostly never the case and always ended up in my untimely death :XD: ). when i was frustrated with one skill, i would always find something else to do like train other skills that would seem fun at the time or just go exploring(in case you ask, i was a newbie with lots of inexperience of the land of Gielinor). but these days, i see no one doing the quests that don't even ressemble one another and actually have a sometimes trivial, but interesting story to it (*cough*what WoW needs*cough* : ) and all every one is trying to do these days is to make as much money or to work on skills that they will almost never use unless one such occasion happens.
now this questions is for veteran players (2 year or more of playing). other players may answer, but i won't acknowledge most of their answers.
in your most honest opinions, do you think runescape has been made into such a dreaded grindfest?

Lol great speech and i won't critisize you due to the fact that you didn't implement your anger fully when writing this post (dont ask me about this part please)
all the points you've made are absolutly true, but game makers never listen to their players. all they care about is making money. even if that means denying surviving income to a poor person just because they made money of pixels that developpers created for free distribution. they're greedy and don't care about you.

Andrew and the team do a very good job, it's just that some people don't know how much work it takes to make an update.
well not really
java is pretty simple whenj u compare it to other game engines

most f2p mages wear blue or black skirts to match their mage outfit
and when trimmed mage armor was released, they made a wizard bottom g and t but they dint have stats
well they could change the skirts and wizard bottoms so they wont be useless weight on ur character

lolz i wish i could stap someone with a chisel

1. If a friend from RL lent you a party hat to wear once and give back, would you take it?
Depends. If it's a best friend, no. If it's a a friend or an acquaintance, yes.
2. If an ingame friend gave you his partyhat to wear then give back, would you take it?
Yes.
3. If a rich person you hardly knew lent you his partyhat to wear and give back, would you take it?
Yes.
4. If you knew someones password, and knew they were rich, would you take thier stuff?
Only their runes and arrows(Don't ask : )
5. Would you kill a skulled person in the wilderness for a partyhat?
Definitly.
6. Would you accept a duel with a much lower level that stakes all his money (say 5 mil)?
I'd probably give back 1.5 mil. I really don't need alot of money
7. If someone died, and dropped something valuable, would you give it back. AND how valuable would it have to be for you to keep it?
If it's a holiday item, no(but only for personal reasons). I'd probably give back some of his armor and weapons, but I'd keep all his runes, arrows or abby whip if he would drop it.

being loyal, not to my friends who play but to the actual game itself
(i still play other MMORPGs 8-) )

movie games are rushed so in turn they end up being bad games because everything in them are rushed.
anyone who dint know this is an uninformed fool :shame:
anyways thats not always the case
take spiderman 2 for example, it was a great game and got decent reviews
lots of copies of the incredibles were bought because of their cheats
sometimes games suck because they lack the flair of common video games

really good idea
i support :

i think the clan chat is really inovative

im really curious as to how Jagex came up with that name for the land of runescape
another british game developper called Lionhead Studios made a game called Fable. in the game, they reffer to the land(country) as Albion
i did some reseach and turns out Albion is an old name for the United kingdom
If anyone has any info, please post the links too

i would most likely want to take every disney movie in my house, take a hammer, smash them, pour gasoline, light them on fire and for the first time in my life, roast marshmellows on the bonfire
-
at times i would think of a scimitar but sometimes i would think of vast land
-
i support
even though i was never a member, i still think it would be a useful update
it might even prove to be worth jagex's time

i like the idea but u need to put more details

my dream starts with me at edgeville bank. i meet up with my friends and we go out on a wilderness trip. their faces r the same as in real life but they're wearing the same armor and have the same hair and facial hair at their runescape characters(which kinda creeped me out when i woke up next morning :uhh: ). we go out and start exploring. arriving at the the dark warrior's forteress, me and one of my friend scout the area in case of an ambush. my 2 other friends go inside and search the place. about 5 min later, i hear metal banging against the wall and i see a random dude falling inside the moat of the forteress. my 2 other friends come out, one of them limping and the other stained in blood. we bandage him up and start exploring(with me holding the injured one on my back since im pretty big in real life -.- ). we continue walking until one of us is shot by an arrow. we look in the direction of where the arrow was shot. we see a girl wearing red dragonhide armor and a robin hood hat and boots.(coulndt tell what bow she was wielding). my friend who got shot runs to her to attack her and bites the dust before even landing a blow while my other friend snuck up behind her and hits her with his rune scimitar(in my dream the action isnt like inside the game. no 0 and 1s. so everything is fast paced). she turns and hits him with the bow. he falls and gets stabbed with what looks like a dragon dagger. i start running, after a few paces, i recieve an arrow in the leg and fall with my friend on my back and pass out.
p.s. : seemingly, i always die or pass out in my so-called "action" dreams : . its curious but i dont know why

it wont really matter for them as long as they can play the game
u will just them in super high detail, thats all
they dont need a new pc to play rs (plus the system requirements for the new update r really low so i dont understand why people r complaining about it, unless they own a pc from 10 years ago)
