  1. [hide=pointless rants]

It seems the current management team doesnt care much about community building outside their little inner circle, undoing what the TET does. Not to mention the recent bannings.

It was golden age when zidane was leading the TET. I guess we are the only platinum fansite out there that doesnt have an official chat and clan and can still declare war on other sites.

No point stroking Ziddy's ego though is there. <3:

  2. Another great day for Egypt and the Arab world.

"Let freedom ring. And when this happens, and when we allow freedom ringwhen we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's childrenblack men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholicswill be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual: 'Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!".

  3. I have noticed absolutely no difference in the way money is exchanged or viewed.

    But apparently you have.

I understand that if I wanted to sell up and thereby raise cash, then trade to make money, I'd probably be able to do so in similar percentages to those starting with far more gp.

As far as I can tell your comment makes no sense. That I trust the OP's report of his experience and can extrapolate that to deduce I would experience similar at smaller scale if I tried in no way indicates I have done so. If you choose to interpret my trusting the OP's report of something as 'noticing' it then you are using that word very differently to me; I 'notice' things through personal observation, not second hand report.

Your entire argument against him was that you have not personally noticed these things, which is fair enough. It seems strange then to flip and say that even though all your observational evidence stacks up against what the OP originally was saying, nevertheless you now "understand" albeit theoretically that what he is saying is true - that the nature of trading has altered somewhat. You agree in theory but not in practice. Your position makes no sense.

  5. I made quite a bit. 300M or so.

But it shall calm down. What I hate at the moment is the amount of beggars and scammers. At least pre-GE everyone knew silly tricks didn't really work so tried a little harder.

Nice to see the trimming scam is back though.

  6. To add a little verse.

And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Nevertheless, it is quite the debate regarding homosexuality in the Bible and I tend towards the school of thought that positions the Bible against homosexuality. As I myself am no Christian it doesn't hold any weight over me. A friend of mine who is a Catholic often tries to argue that the Bible does not condemn homosexual sex, but despite his vast knowledge and understanding I still have yet to hear a convincing argument.

  7. Some girls are like that, some straight men are like that too. It is just a personality trait greater enhanced perhaps through the years of abuse or rejection that gay people sometimes can go through. They probably should see a psychoanalyst.

  8. I'm thinking about starting Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. Anyone read it?

I thought it was a good book. While rather long and plodding it is certainly better then the drivel most other similar (contemporary) philosophers have published.

Lol. To cite Ayn Rand as better than most other contemporary philosophers is insane. !

This really depends on what you count as philosophy. I've got about twenty pages left of The Stranger and it's been brilliant. Some might say that's not necessarily philosophy, if it weren't for the fact that Camus is constantly associated with absurdism.

Camus is pretty decent and is a philosopher, although he would not admit that. To have Ayn Rand anywhere near the top of a Contemporary Philosophers list is insane. Especially when you have people like Michel Foucault, Jacques Lacan, Maurice Merleau-Ponty, Jacques Derrida, Emmanuel Levinas et cetera.

  10. If someone wants to poke their stick into another guy I could care less... but that's no reason to gain a lisp. Don't flash around that you're gay; I don't care. Your business... but don't hit on me or I'll smack a [garden tool].

    Lol. I don't understand you.
