Just some noob.

unfortunately i didnt take many screen shots when i first began but these are around 3- 4 years old. all taken by me
Next time you claim to take one of the coolest pictures in rs history make sure that the person that actually took the picture doesn't use the forums.
the original, THANK YOU.
THIS is the coolest runescape picture ever, kthanxbai.
Lol, where did you go?
Edit: Oh, you haven't logged on since 2007. I SAW YOU LOG ONTO RS LAST WEEK.

Told you to sell your Santas :)
-
I'd stay clear of them. You can only get one from the particular quest. Any further mint cakes come from that gnome delivery mini game as a reward.
-
Every year it's the same. People think Santa's will rise at Christmas. They do the opposite and crash, because of the overwhelming expectation from stupid merchants who can't think back twelve months.
Well they're going through the roof right now. Don't know whether I've ever seen them this high.
It's not Christmas yet. They'll crash. They might even crash within the next week, because they have already risen so much. Then go back up slightly, then at Christmas crash again.
If you have a Santa, sell it very soon.

I disagree. Easters will crash quite a lot if they are dumped (there is still a large amount left). However Half Wines, Pumpkins and Disks will remain in a similar state to what they are in now, perhaps they are at risk of a small decline, but principally they won't be going down.
contrary to that, if they reached a price where nobody can afford them and then dumped by a large clan, who would buy them? they're just like any other items. if there is no demand, then it crashes.
demand is created by people who are willing and can afford to buy the items. (/economics nerd)
Relatively speaking, If the supply is incredibly low, then the demand does not have to be high in order for them to rise.

Meh, may as well pay for membership to check my account.

Good old Barrows.

Disks are 60-70M... I wouldn't sell them to the GE. If you are planning too, I'll buy them :)
Oh, and you'll be quite lucky to get a Yellow on the GE.
-
I have heard anywhere from 75-105M.
-
Disks and Pumpkins are still going up, and will continue to do so. Easters are more volatile, since there are quite a lot of them in comparison to disks and pumpkins, and unlike the former, they are in the hands of quite lot of people. Nevertheless, they'll be going up again as well - and soon.

It is more impressive for a God to design the laws of nature, than to create nature itself.
-
God knows, I have about 5Mgp and depending on prices, around 400+ in rares. It might be double or triple actually, but I have no idea how much certain things are really worth.

You're just a bottle of fun aren't you hawkxs?

You were better off with us.

Gladz, or another clan that has been around so long it has become an institution.

I believe my green phat is worth a lot higher than it is right now, I would wait for it to grow. But the only way for the price to grow is if another person with the green partyhat sells it. With limited number of suppliers selling this, it takes a lot longer for the price to grow because GE sets a cap on the price. So it seems that there is no demand for it when it acctually lack of suppliers selling the hats through GE.
Relax, dude. Did you notice that, as predicted, the GPH made a nice move today?
The GE is still unbearably stifling to any product that has a higher street price and an incredibly low supply.

Delivered today:
Hunger - Knut Hamsun
Journey to the End of the Night - Louis-Ferdinand Celine
Memoirs from the House of the Dead - Dostoevsky
The Sound and the Fury - William Faulkner
The Bandini Quartet - John Fante
The Plague - Albert Camus
This completes my collection of Camus and leaves me with only a few Dostoevsky left to go. I also went to see my grandpa yesterday to talk about what it was like in the Communist party and the war, and he gave me:
The New York Trilogy - Paul Auster
Principles of Literary Criticism - I.A. Richards
Ten Days That Shook the World - John Reed (Apparently very popular with communists)
Bonfire of the Vanities - Tom Wolfe
The New Journalism - Compiled by Tom Wolfe
Bookshelf is looking good.
Ten Days That Shook the World is an excellent book. Somewhat of a dreary read at times, however I suppose it gives you a good perception of a pretty dreary revolution.

This is why you don't have many friends and don't have much going for you
...and not the fact that you live in Zimbabwe in a climate of trepidation, disease and destruction!
Another victory for senseless optimism.

It's from a text book called Macroeconomics by Paul Krugman and Robin Wells, published 2006. The table displaying the information can be found on page 303 in the chapter on Fiscal Policy. The original source is from economy.com (although it could be quite hard to find it on there).
What you're saying is if everyone had the same marginal propensity to consume because they had equal incomes (and were communist). However, those findings only apply to economies that have different levels of income.
Small note: I wrote marginal propensity to save when I meant consume, fixed up now.
Fair enough, and I do see your point that poorer people having more money would result in more spending and thus a higher GDP. I really just have two main problems with socialism I suppose:
one) the more left the government gets, the higher the spending, and generally the more it suffers.
There are different values on which to judge left-wing policies. Policy on the left is no longer primarily, and principally judged by it's cost (although that is important), but rather its value to society.
Obama is trying to expand medicare and preserve social security, but can our government handle that with the money it gets? No.Why wouldn't universal healthcare be accompanied by decentralization?

Do you need to take some pills? Why are you in what seems to be a constant volatile state? I think you should really start calming down.
Um, cos he got reminded that we live on the same planet as a bunch of hate mongering bozos perhaps?
Ok sure, what do you expect when you come to a thread like this, but even so, when someone idly says your wrong as a person, as opposed to an opinion you might hold most people are going to react, and then when they say something as daft as "I'll only respect you if you can have a baby with another man", instead of respecting people simply for being people, well im not surprised he got annoyed.
If he wants to be taken seriously he should calm down and stop swearing at people, otherwise he'll be treated as a joke, like he was when he went crazy at Reb for promoting a different set of ideals.
Should the GE be removed?

Well, I preferred everything prior to the introduction of the Grand Exchange. Even the convenience it has brought has been at the expense of player interaction. I think trade limits exist only to curb RWT and if another way is discovered to limit it then it should be adopted. I heard Jagex were going to review the Grand Exchange in the new year, so with that I hope for some changes.
