FrollTace Actually prayer potions are pretty good for conserving food. If you are decently good at pray switching and you don't have a laggy computer - you can effectively *almost* pray melee/magic/range without losing many prayer points. This is probably better then buying food anyways unless you want to just afk or not pay much attention. Pray flashing is pretty essential later on to be a "good" player (for Jad/DG/Bosses with multi-styles/etc) so why not take a chance and learn how to now? That and prayer potions are extremely cheap at the moment. Doesn't pray flashing require heavily on latency? I've tried but i get almost a sec delay and even if the thing hits me after i put up prayer it seems to go through :\ Need to have like a T3 connection for pray flashing or what? Also my ingame name is Jddoggs back if you wish to look me up. I ahvent started summoner yet, been collecting charms, i think i have around 1k gold charms atm and only like 50-100 of green/red and only a couple blues of course. I have been collecting most of them thus far.

Won't the highest slayer master give me tasks for killing lvl 100+'s and such? I'm already getting lvl 85's from edgeville master. Does this mean that the running for the 1,000 tasks doesn't start til after i do smoking kills?

Ok so i know there is some sort of award after doing 1,000 straight tasks right? Is that 1,000 tasks from the same slayer master? Or just 1,000 tasks you don't skip no matter what master they are from? Also, at around lvl 80 combat with pretty decent gear setup, prayer pots, super potions, black mask... what slayer master should i be using? I have been using edgeville, should i keep using this one i assume, and if so until what level should i change?

Well... this would be exactly what i was looking for if it was at all accurate.... but i have never seen monkfish at that price. sorry, i forget how the price of items dont change over the course of about 2 years also i believe uni scrolls work quite well if you can use them.. bunyips too. Wait what? I dont know what uni scrolls are, and i',m definateley not high enough summoner to do bunnyips :\

Boxing doesn't seem to be winning you much money so i don't think that would be the best idea :P I see you have 99 slayer, that probably makes tons of money i will assume ;]

Well im 75 combat, currently training slayer/combat thru tasks only and was wondering what a better "Bang for your buck" food would be. Prefferably something above lobster(what i have been using)

Just got drag defender and found out you do indeed need 60 defense... I'm only 40 defense now as i was trying to keep it low to get a high strength( at 72 now) Would it be worth it to get 60 def. just for the drag defender? Or just use the rune one?

Wow no kidding me huh, just put on my rune defender since i havent got drag yet... HUGE difference.. There is no defence requirement on drag defender? Hope you don't need 60 defense >_<

Also, would you guys say a dragon defender is a considerably noticeable increase in damage? I plan to use it on slayer tasks and am hoping the increased dmg output will outweigh the extra damage ill be taking. Thanks again everyone :] I'm learnin :]

K thank you everyone so much! One out a trillion things to do on runescape learned :P I decided to do the multiple token thingie, got like 200 of each, that gives an hour from what i read, i'm on my black defender right now :]

Do only the cyclossus drop drag defenders? Or are they just increased percentage drop? Is drag defender a rarer drop than rune defender A.E is it going to take forever once i get my rune defender to get my drag? Or is it the same drop rate for all of them?

Will someone explain to me exactly how i go about getting a dragon defender? I know it involves the champion guild somewhat, what quest does it involve and then after the quest how exactly do i get it? Any help would be appreciated :] thanks1

What hunter lvl do you need to kill whatever drops those or however it works?

As i said before... just range them with protect ranged prayer on :P So much simpler haha. How has no one thought to try that yet?

Ok ranging them with protect ranged on is the way to go. Forces them to range only and stop their melee attack :D Much better now :] Thanks for the idea.

Or you could spend points to cancel your task, so you don't lose your task streak. :) I believe this particular OP has not yet completed smoking kills. ;) correctamundo... I can only kill 10 of these guys on a full invent of lobster, ridiculous lol, and my task called for 99... guess slow n steady it is then...

So i'm a level 73 combat and i just got a slayer task to kill killerwatts, lvl 53, no problem sure i kill 80+'s with no problem at all.... Wrong... These things hit like a truck and hit very fast... taking almost 3-500 lifepoints per battle ( im wearing full rune/black mask) How the hell am i supposed to be killing these things and why do they hit so damn hard? How am i supposed to complete this slayer task O_O? Any help[ would be appreciated. Yes i am wearing the insulted boots btw.

What exactly are the benefits of training hunter skill? I am lvl 70 combat and haven't come across it yet at all.

so definately not something to train over other skills then.
