Is Jagex really so ready to bite that hand that feeds it? Let me translate: IS JAGEX SO READY TO BAN THE MEMBERS WHO MAKE THEM RICH IN REAL LIFE?? I say no, who hates money?

12 January 2006 - Nearly 5000 RS-classic accounts banned As regular classic players will know the classic game was being seriously spoilt by players breaking rule 7. We won't let cheats spoil our games, so we are currently permanently banning nearly 5000 accounts which our system has flagged as using macro software in breach of our rules. RS-classic will be brought back online once that operation is complete. We recommend all players make sure they are aware of our rules, which are there to keep the game enjoyable for our millions of players. We simply won't let a small minority spoil the game for everyone else. If you don't know the rules already then please make sure you Read them here! As you know our focus these days is on the main RuneScape game which is far more advanced than RS-classic. The main reason we are keeping RS-classic online at all is to support some of our loyal players who have been with us for years and want to play the old version of the game they are used to. We've therefore decided the best way to stop the cheats just creating new accounts to cause trouble in RS-classic all over again, whilst still supporting the loyal players who have been playing RS-classic fairly for years, is to close RS-classic to new accounts. As such only accounts which have played RS-classic at least once in the last 6 months (since it went members only on August 3rd 2005) will be able to do so from now on. This allows the currently active players of RS-classic to continue playing, whilst keeping out the cheats trying to spoil it. The latest and greatest version of RuneScape - which 99% of our players use - of course remains open to everyone (except rule breakers). It has much better anti-cheat technology and we will also be taking a strong stance against rule-breakers in the current version of the game, but without the need to restrict account signups As on the homepage.

How on earth is it beneficial to have more than one copy of each hat scarf and marionette??????????? I mean honestly, you only got one head and one neck, so what is the point of owing 8 hats and 8 scarves? Really. :roll: :lol: EDIT: They are untradeable and you can only have one set on at a time, so what further point is there to that waste of bank space?

Firstly I will say that I am F2P. It has come to my attention that the strongest NPC to battle is a Greater Demon, and behind that, a Lesser Demon. This is all well and good, but for those F2P in the higher levels (I'm 82) there is not much challenege. I ask that there be a monster put into the game above level 100. For F2P, something like a Kalphite Queen. A monster you might have to team against, give rune armour drops and gives good combat XP. I find that there is not high enough monsters (except the zombies and shades that attack (lvl 120), and even then, you only get 1/4 the experience for killing them. Gameplay for more advanced F2P would be greatly increased if there was something like a God Mosnter to fight. I would be first in line to fight it!

Can someone take a screen pic of the overhead maze and map the exit? All three times I've done it, I can't go fast enought to get any treasure. :(

There is so advantages. Not ALL computers are more powerful, a solid, good computer is not as accessible as a PS2, consoles would not produce lag, using a console dramatically reduces the possibility of getting carpal tunneling. Furthermore, JAGex could get more money from consumers by offering updates/upgrades or new added bonuses to the game only purchasable through player points. Graphics would be wickedly better, screensizes would be bigger, resolution quality would be higher and the special added bonus of not having to click click click everything. On a PS2, it would be a total of 8 buttons tops to use. A PS2 can't get viruses, or crash and it can only become obsolete to a better model. I say go for it. Ever play Everquest online? Runescape would own if it came out for console, and I would be first in line to buy it, just to spite you. ALSO, Runescape could still be played on PC, it could just be available as well on consoles.

What is AFK under rule 7? Only part I did not get. I think Jagex fumbled when a whole year could go by and not update F2P. ESPECIALLY considering the Champion's Guild is a F2P Guild and F2P players can't access the basement!

I used the emotes alot. I got 2 in the same day by doing this. It was like I was calling it on or something...
