My first account was f2p. I call it my "learning" account now. I played for about 2 months, had a total of 20k, got scammed, lost 10k quit. I wasted so much time by carying everything they give you on tutorial island in my inventory. I'd mine 7 copper, 7 tin, go to falador, smelt, go to thurgo smith. :lol: kept a pot and bucket at all times, cause that flour was gonna jump right out at me :roll: . Now ive been playing since December 1, 2005, 4 months and a week or so....i dunno im almost glad i quit my first account. I would have continued to waste a ton of time.

I had something similar for a while. I opened another window to check forums on tip.it. When i got back to rs the entire screen was white. I was in middle of prison pete event. I fixed it by minimizing window, reopening, minimizing, etc. etc. Dunno, sortof similar. Oh and ginigvitis is where your gums get infected and your teeth fall out :shock: :lol:

I recommend chossing either melee range or mage depending on what you think is cooler/ what you prefer. For mage, get your magic level as high as possible, with 60 magic, youll be lvl 29, 80 38/39 (using tip.its calulator). Same with range. For melee, Get like 40(f2p) or 60(p2p) attack and then as high as possible strength. Mage armor just where wizard robe and respective colored robe skirt (clothes shop in varrock). Range, wear green d hide legs and vambs and leather body or something. Melee use iron armor. As for pking tactics.... if you're a mage try binding foe then maging, if ranger try hit and run tactics, melee sit in low lvl wilderness near varrock and let others attack you, melee them and maybe use strength potions (from herb guy in varrock or herblore members)

Its crush attack, heck they weild a giant wood/stone club!

If anything i wish they'd add 2 slots to make it an equal 30 so that you dont get things like 196 lobbies going. You're 4 short of 200, and noone really buys in unusual numbers (numbers other than 10, 50, 100, 200, 1000 something like that). So you have to make a special trip to get those 4 extra lobbies. I dunno ive just had trouble in fishing with the unevenness. Maybe if there was a 'secondary pack' item or something that takes up one inventory slot and carries 3 items in it (gives you 2 extra spaces since 1 item it carries makes up for the space used to carry the pack itself). It wouldn't add tons of spaces so the economy and prices of things wouldn't fluctuate a ton....

Which has better stats, guthans (for that matter barrows) armor or rune armor? Barrows. So, in that case, guthans boots would be better than rune boots. Why would you choose rune boots (the weaker choice) over guthans boots (besides price)?

Cool idea, but it would mean everyone grouped together. The world would be mostly abandoned. Currently,there is a sort of authentic feel when traveling to different towns and having different people buying and selling stuff. It gives the game culture and diversity and makes it more fun to travel and sell your wares. Ok nvm cut the crap. I do like the multifloor layout. Seems logical and interesting.

Ya but i think its safe to say that only 100 or so people have ever gotten 28 tokens. I know its supposed to be random and rare and such, but not to the point where almost noone has it. If only several people could experience this, then why would jagex take the time and effort to add it to the game?

Ahha!! Ive got it! The new name should be whatever you changed to (lets use zezima as an example), but in front of it should be a symbol or the letters CH (for changed). So it would be (CH)Zezima. That way you know that's not the original zezima, someone else changed to that name. Of course the problem would be everyone walking around as (Ch)pker501, (Ch)De39 or something. Everyone would have (Ch) in in their name, meaning it would be pointless. hm.....again inspiration. On the friends/ignore lists, under the changed name would also be in parenthesis the original name like (Ch)zezima (formerly noobpker4). That way you could tell who they were still. On the high score lists as well, they would have their original name underneath to avoid confusion. Also, this would be a one time offer for each account, so you can't change multiple times. I dunno its a thought.

I agree. I made my rs name at school ( i was bored in my computer research class heh crappy useless garbage class) so i started my account. I couldn't really think of anything, but i knew i liked snipers so there ya go (im always sniping in battelfield, halo....metroid hunters....) Anyway, i realized the name is really stupid. I think half the people playing rs dont like their names. Maybe it should be offered once per account.

Oh, another idea. You should be able to examine anyone in runescape. Under the description will be a custom message from that person, sort of like a signature on a forum.

I don't know about anybody else, but my friend list gets full often. I find myself wondering over the many names thinking "Who are these people?" So I send a message "Who are you?" and they say "Who are you?". I also find myself trying to 'examine' them alot of times :oops:. my point is, you should be able to add a descriptionfor each person to tell them apart. For instance, "That guy you pked on wednesday", or "Wants to buy your guthix kite", "Annoying noob who pesters you for free stoof saying they're your friend", "Your best friend", "your mortal enemy", "the slave you employ to mine ess for you" etc. etc. It would be useful if you forgot to remove a buyer or seller, forgot why you added this preson etc.

I agree. I've got this guy i know in real life who annoys me and stalks me in rs. I always have my private chat on friends and have him on my ignore list. If i turn chat on, he knows im on and although he cant do anything about it then, he gets furious at me in real life (which i find kind of funny). So what would really help me is if i could put him on my general friends list, then put everyone else on my best friend list. Id keep chat on best friends and id be able to tell when this guy is on or not. I dunno even normally it sounds like a good idea.
