Why not do slayer and get a focus sight and Armadyl, then you're ranged accuracy and strength will be boosted more than the void would, and you'd have the added accuracy of armadyl

I've never done this, but for how easy it is to get the Ardy Cape 3, you mayswell get it as +6 Stab is better than +1 Stab and + 1 Strength

Sold my Armadyl Armour and Dragonfire Shield and bought 10k dragon bones, should get me 88 prayer.

I find it helps to just focus on prayer, make sure you're using the F3 shortcut to access your prayer book, I found that a HUGE help (the first time I used that shortcut I won), always have one finger on F3 for quick prayer changing. Just focus on switching prayers and hit the healers when you can instead of focusing on the healers. That's what I did. To get into a position where only one can hit you you can just get them to follow you and keep moving one square north, this should get them in a line. The first time I did fight caves, I ran out of brews and it ended up being a race between whether I could kill Jad faster than the healers could kill me, was pretty exciting.

Ranging Waterfiends is actually much more fun than I thought it would be, these guys have pretty good drops.

Has anyone else been having a problem where scroll bars at the side and bottom of the runescape window, I never used to have this problem. It started after I installed the new fire fox. Has anyone else been having this problem? Are there any solutions?

The above poster has this correct. However if you want to spend a couple of hours getting shoddy kills per minute and wishing you had blocked them (like yours truly here) then: Rune defender and Whip = better, and speed it up by cannoning and potting..... though cannon deals with them easy enough. Just try not to slit your wrists with the boredom of their respawn rate. I found they respawn much faster if you mine their remains, but still block em.

The main factor for me is fun. I love slayer, but I know the exp is slow, but when you enjoy it, it doesn't matter. It is a game afterall. I got 99 Attack, Defence, Strength and Constitution (lol) through slayer, and I'm now 97 Ranged with slayer.

Got sick of using chinchompas, not really for me. I decided to mage the rest of my Nechryael to get a taste for what mage slaying would be like. Conclusion: expensive, though I did get this:

If I do end up mage slaying, would it be worth buying battle robes to save money, or is it not worth losing the benefits of the hexcrest and other Mage equipment

That doesn't really deal with what I asked, you just pulled another random ratio out of thin air. I don't really understand your post. are you saying that the defence stat only applies melee defence? If that's what you're saying I sincerely doubt that is the case.7 I'm not disagreeing with what Muggi is saying, I would just like a source and if it turned out to be true, I would honestly be quite suprised as this would make the Magic stat a bit unbalanced compared to the other stats. I'm pretty sure your ranged defence doesn' t contribute to your ranged defence so you can see why I'd be suprised.

Hey Wiveren1, I saw your blog, pretty impressive. Honestly, I quite like safespotting, I enjoy having to be quite tactical in trying to find the best spot. I've gotten from around 91 to 97 and I'm still quite enjoying it so I think I'll just stick it out. Did you get 99 Magic through Slayer? I would love to hear tips on that if you had any.

I dunno, move onto Magic I guess, though at that point it'll start costing me quite a lot of money, unless I get a staff of light and some battle robes. If magic gets too expensive I'll aim for 99 slayer and just melee everything.
