  1. Well you could do deaths to 75 rc (about 10m) then do whatever to 82 for double astrals. Double astrals at a moderate pace are from 700k to 800k profit/hour. also, with your agility you could do blue dragon scales, which are around 1.2m an hour.

I would agree with everything up to the drag scales. Drag scales peak at about 400k an hour. Its nowhere near 1.2m an hour. I am currently rcing my way to 95 prayer as well. Just another 100k ess to craft and i should be there, or close.

  2. Honestly, just craft nats with a graahk. Youll make half decent money. I never did smoke runes or tiaras or even ZMI, and i managed to go pretty far. Its just a bit over 64k nats for all your lvls. Thats nothing. When i was 98. it took me over 136k ess to gain the final lvl. Keep it in perspective :P

  3. I personally powerslay all my tasks. The time you save on killing can be better used to make money in whichever way you can do it best. I usually use a prossy top, v skirt, and soul wars cape for pietying. using a bcp defeats the purpose, and isnt necessary for most tasks. The extra def bandos gives is overkill. With the def boost, and a bunyip and/or EE, you will have more than enough hp (sorry, i mean lifepoints -.-).

Its important to note that prayer bonus does not work linearly. Having +30 prayer is exactly the same as having +20 prayer. You only need about +15 at the very least. BCP provides extra strength and prayer, hence why it's useful (though not worth the price tag if it would cripple your bank).

When power slaying, you should always use a DDS or dragon claws for specs, and only use healing familiars in single combat zones.

Are you certain about that? This is the first time in 5 years of RS ive heard that. I definitely notice a difference when using a +30 prayer bonus as opposed to +15. Until I can find info suggesting otherwise, I will stick with my statement. I agree with having offensive spec weapons, but if you are powerslaying and do not have summoning, you will need some sort of hp restorer. food is too old fashioned, but can be used.

  4. Chinning in ape atoll is the only viable way to get ranged exp. Anything else is a waste of time, unless you make like 50k an hour.

Unless he's under, say, 70 range, which judging from his avatar is more than a possibility...

Thats a fair point. I killed caged ogres for all my ranging, but then again, i did that like 4 years ago. Kill just about anything you want thats campable (ie: ghouls, yaks) until you get to a decent lvl (around 75-80) then go chin. If you cant afford chinning, dont train ranged.

  5. ok so on my pure i got 91 herblore ... i want to get it to 99 but i only got 170m cash left ...could i get those lvls with 170m? if yes please tlel me what should i make !! No cleaning herbs!!

Make all the overloads you will ever want, then make spec restores the rest of the way. You should be able to make it.

  7. Since we're on the topic of efficiency, why go to Aviansies for the bars when you can kill something more profitable and buy more bars in less time?

Truth. Most of the time, it is more efficient to make money the best way you can, and then buy the supplies you need for training other skills. Aviansies are neither fast exp, nor good money, leaving it a big waste of time, imo.

  8. Considering you're going for 99 smithing afterwards, I'd suggest superheating gold.

100k magic and smithing exp per hour, and that's a fairly conservative rate, much higher if you're concentrated.

Edit: looking at your levels, superheating at edgeville furnace (while smelting) would also be a great option. It cuts down on the natures you need to buy, and would still get you 99 mage before 99 smithing.

Exactly this. I see no reason to do combat for mage when you plan on training a skill afterward that can link perfectly with magic.

  9. Well I did calculations with my sheet (which automatically updates the prices each day) and I noticed this: atm for me (guess of 900k gp/hour as rcing is my only source of income) baby dragon bones are best, closely followed by big bones.. Dragon bones are a far third.. (they became best when earning more than 1.2M an hour)

That's fairly accurate. For me, it comes to the point where I might overpay to save myself the time spent offering bones. Not fun. Check out this spreadsheet: http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=0AhdHFDsdlxujdHJrd3JGanczM3pGRjMxamsxMmVkMUE&gid=2

  10. how do I change 4 dose potions I have in my back to 3 does ones to make into extremes, for example I have like 100 4 dose antifire pots and I want to make them into 3 dose so that when I get 85 herblore I can turn them into super anti pots. Thanks

I heard that there was a guy in the desert who would do that for ya. I would personally just sell them as 4 dose and buy some as 3 dose. Not worth the effort of figuring it out, and taking inventories to and from the bank of pots.

  11. If I were you, I would either do dragon bones on a gilded altar, or do Soul Wars and put your points towards prayer. Based on a calculation I did, Soul Wars is more efficient if you make about 350k an hour or less. If you want to get prayer exp while doing it an 'involved' way, SW is your best bet. I suggest joining a CC (ie: megazeals, 3zealftw, etc.) in W44.

  12. I would think about rcing. Since you can use graahks, you can easily get 400k profit per hour doing nats. Rcing is a consistent income whereas boss hunting is not. When I get my prayer and combats higher, I will turn to bossing for income, however. It will take a lot of capital to do that, so I will continue rcing for the time being.

  13. If you want to get high RC as fast as possible (without ZMI), I would graahk up to 82, do astrals as zaaps1 suggested until 91, then double nats to 99. Nats with a graahk are faster exp while still giving you a chunk of money. Double nats profit about 800k an hour if you do it leisurely.

  14. Don't even get herb up to 95 or 96. It's no trouble coming by greenman's ale, or a stew boost for overloads. No sense throwing cash into a useless abyssmal pit of xp when you could better use it elsewhere.

Boosting to make overloads is a pain in the arse. It you have the cash to get 96, I see no reason why not to get it. The saved headache of trying to get the right boost, logging out and in at the right time, and the threat of having to restart the whole process by losing focus isnt worth the cash to me. What else should the cash go to? You pretty much have all the expensive skills nailed if you get 96 herb, 95 prayer and 96/99 summ (apart from crafting, construction, and smithing). Those three aren't worth getting 99 in unless you want to be maxed.

  15. Get 95 prayer and 96 herblore. Anything past 96 herb isnt worth it, unless you want the cape. If you want at least one cape out of this, prayer is the better of the two for usefulness. The extra ppoints you get are useful. At the end of the day, all you really want to strive for is 95 prayer, 96 herb, and 96 summ. Why not go for those? If you get all that, any boss you ever want to kill can be done so effectively.

  16. make spec restores from 84-85, then as many antifires as you think you'll ever need. Then continue to make spec restores until 88. Now make ~2.3k extreme attacks (88-89), ~2.2k extreme strengths (89-90), ~2.2k extreme defs, (90-91), ~2.2k extreme magics (91-92), and ~2.2k extreme ranges (92-93), now make either as many more extreme magics as you need to get 94, then as many super prayers as you'll ever need, followed by more extreme magics to 96 then ~2.2k overloads, or stew to overloads from 93 and then make as many super prayers as you'll ever need.

Looks like a copy-paste of one of my old posts haha. Regardless, thats exactly how it should be done.

  17. You need to value your time as a cost/efficiency calculation. By choosing to not spend money on duel rings, you are saying to us that you are capable of making almost no money per hour, which is hopefully not true. The thing is, time saved is time where money could be made. If you spend extra time, it should be because it is more efficient that way. I can assure you, it isnt efficient for you to do that. Just use duel rings. You will not need any more than 100 duel rings to get to 44. Once you get to nats, you will make it back. To further beat the efficiency to death, would you walk to craft nats? I hope you say no. If so, why would you walk for fires?

  18. I suppose I should start getting super attack/strength to make into extremes, so, should I make 1k super attack/strength, or brew 88 then buy the super pots?

You dont want to brew anywhere past 84. I would do super atks/str to 81, brews to 84, spec restores to 88, extreme atks to 89, an equal amount of extreme str. If you want to get higher herb (and overloads), you can follow the plan i used:

Make brews to 84, then spec restores to 88. Once you hit 88, you will begin to prep for overloads. At this point, you will want to make 2.2k of each extreme pot as you achieve the level. So, make 2.2k ext atks to get you 89. 2.2k ext str for 90, 2.2k defs for 91, 2.2k mages for 92, and 2.2k ranges for 92.8 ish. You will be like 200k or less away from 93 herb. Make those into overloads, and you should be just about 96 (again, 200k away from 96). Is this expensive? Yes. But you will never need more overloads again, and it only leaves you with the cheapest herb exp to finish up to 99. There is no risk of getting 99 and then needing some overloads, which is a waste of cash and time when youre over 99.

  19. I completely disagree with super defs. There is no advantage to making them. Super defs cost 27.05 gp/xp, super attacks are 25.42 gp/xp, and super strengths are 25.65 gp/xp. So, not only are super defs more expensive, they also dont sell very well. If you plan on using the super pots you make into extremes, attacks are the best. They are cheap to make the supers, and comparable to the cost/xp of restore specs. Extreme defs are useless too. The only time they are worth it are when they are in overloads.

  20. Not really. I was more referring as to how I can make a lot of money when these items come out, with the knowledge of my 0 junk, 3 crowns, onyx, and 5 bobs. If there is a way to get cash right off the bat, that's what im looking for. Sniping won't work, unless rs is filled with idiots (not a stretch).

If that isn't clear: If you had no junk, 3 crowns, an uncut onyx, and 5 bobs, what would you do with them?
