Well out of the 12 posts in here so far: 5 say go F2P 5 say screw F2P 1 says Jagex wants money That seems split down the middle to me.....

If you want to stop playing, go into wild with all of your most prized possesions and proceed to die with a skull. If all your hard work just went down the drain you don't really feel like starting over again. If you don't go in with all your possesions then it wont work. For example I lost full rune 3 times in 1 day. Each time I lost it I had enough resources in the bank to create more money. So I continued to play. But the way I just stated is just a way to help you stop playing.

I agree with just the cape idea. Not the armour or clothes. Maybe something similar to Guild Wars....

I agree with the idea of giving something to the f2p world every now and then. Countless of players have quit playing due to lack of variety and new things to do. People say: The answer is simple......... PAY! Well I am afraid not all of us can afford it, and the majority of the runescape community still lives with there parents and the PARENTS decide. If the f2p world gets tidbits every now and then, people would continue playing and when they get older will become members since they can afford it or there parents break down and or say it is OK if the kids pay for it. The new updates don't have to be huge complex quests or new skills. Just small things, for example the ability to use canoes. Or perhaps access to a new item like they did with TIARA's back in the day. I support this idea or small quests.
