  1. ok, 200k probably won't get you a 99 with this method unless you fish everything, but here's a good way to train cooking: first off start by cooking low level foods such as chicken, shrimp and such untill your around lv 30. from there fish the best fish you can and cook them untill you are around lv 40-50 ( i believe you stop burning trout and salmon at around here) from this level, either buy or fish trout and/or salmon all the way to 99. trust me it's MUCH cheaper than lobbys if you decide to buy them, and their relatively easy to catch too if you decide to fish them. hope this helped, good luck on your 99
  2. unless you want to make a few rune brutal arrows just toss em over there in that large pile of junk on the outskirts of asgarnia, i'm sure the imps will be happy lol
  3. thanks for the support bballer, i might take you up on that offer possibly tomorrow if i can gather the supplys (not a problem with 20mill in the bank though lol). i'll be looking at guides to kill the bosses so i'll try to come as prepared as possible lol. thanks again everyone for the help
  4. dds is a dragon dager super poisoned (that's p++ in game) and i killed the deamon with no problem at lower levels than you so you'll do fine. the boss is EASY, with 43 prayer you'll probably only use 1 MABY 2 sharks. good luck
  5. thanks, i'll definately try that out once i get my stats a little higher. thanks for all the help
  6. hmm, 75 in everything doesn't seem too bad, i could probably do that quite easily-ish. now what boss would you suggest i start on for my first trip? (i'm not going to attempt saradomin as i hear the guardian is really hard)
  7. these are my stats. my question is can i do any of the gwd bosses, and if so which one/s. (assuming i go in a group of 3-4 total people) if i can't do a boss, what stats should i raise in order to kill the weakest/easiest boss. thanks in advance
  8. hey guys, i'd like to borrow any godsword to try out for an hour or two. i can give ya money or i'll lend you a whip for it lol
  9. i dunno if it's been changed, but i timed myself when making dairy products and it takes roughly 7 seconds to churn an item from one step to another (eg. milk to cream, cream to butter, etc). so 28 butters would take roughly 196 seconds or 3 mins 16 seconds, not counting the trip to and from the bank. i'll try this to see if my calculations were correct or not and give an update when i do.
  10. hate to ask a question in someone else thread but, does skipping a task in that manner ruin your task streak? if not that's awsome. also to contribute to the thread, i do believe that you can purchase the slayer helm for about 70 points rather than learn how to make it, correct me if i'm wrong though
  11. also, if you have 60+ smithing and a good bit of extra time on your hands, you can make steel with 1 iron and 1 coal using the blast furnace, then make those into c-balls. more profit per bar, but takes longer so decide for yourself if you think it's worth it or not.
  12. those are some very helpful tips, i didn't know that the ogre onclave was a good blue drag. spot, i'll try bolting a few of em and see how that works out. thanks to everyone who posted, if you have any other tips you'd like to share please let me know :
  13. blue dragons are usually packed, and i'm not in the mood to world hop a ton for em. curse failing is a money lost deal while alching is just a nusance (sp?) for me. any alternatives to those? i've figured barrows as a half decent way as i can kill the brothers realatively easily with fire bolt but....any other suggestions are welcome
  14. Hey guys, i'm looking for some ways to train magic at lv 67. i would like to at least break even while training, profit is nice but i'll settle for breaking even. just a note, i can not train slayer with magic right now as i'm in the middle of an iron dragon task which i'm puttin on hold for the moment, so that method of training is out of the question. any places i can train magic to break even or profit with lv 67 magic?
  15. while it wasn't the quickest kills, in about 2 or 3 kills i got a visage drop =) looks like i won't have to worry about money for a little while now. thanks again for all the help guys
  16. yeah, i think i'll give it a shot and see how many i can kill in one go, thanks for the feedback guys
  17. ok, what spell do you think i should use to kill them? usually when i go i use bolt spells with chaos guants, but i can also use waves (since bloods are the same as deaths) if need be
  18. do you think that my level would get my task done without losing a ton of money, or should i train it up more?
  19. I have 66 magic and a task for 53 iron dragons. I've tried meleing them but my stats are too low to kill them easily so i wanted to know if i would be able to easily mage 53 irons without losing much money. if i can, what spell should i use to mage them? thanks in advance
  20. both the quest point idea and the age limit sound like viable options to extend the imbalanced trade limit, perhaps they could both be implemented? Say for instance to trade +/- 6k of gp you need to have a LEGIT account for a month or attain 10 QP To extend that to around 12k you need to have a legit account for 2 months or attain 25 QP... Now as the ammount goes up, the requierments would have to get a little more strict, like to trade 100k you might have to have a legit account for a year AND attain 75 QP. just an example of how this could work, any thoughts?
  21. nice guide, i didn't know you could get that much exp per hour there, i'll have to try it. also, do you get auto-logged if you sit there long enough?
  22. that i haven't tried, and i don't recall seing that in the guide (i may have over looked it though) i'll try that, thank you
  23. yes, speaking to him only gives the option to view his shop, or leave.
  24. i have a fish bowl, however i can't get harry to sell me a tiny net needed to get the pet fish. can anyone tell me how to get the net needed to get the fish? i've read the pet care guide and it doesn't help, harry has no option to buy the net.
  25. i doubt that the eggs would be used to train the skill, but rather just to get a creature from them. How the skill will be leveled is beyond me but i would bet that combat creatures would lv similarly to how we lv, by dealing damage. that's just my two cents
