2 tips 1) use free hand (the pencil tool) it looks alot better 2)dont rush or it will look really bad take your time have a rough picture in your head what you want to do in that part of the picture so if you do something wrong you know its wrong

The grass is just plain, no detail same with the sky. If you put in more detail overall then it would be much better.
