Guess that excludes you then axe. You've got no right to say someone is a noob or has no potential, we all have been noobs once. NO ONE is born perfect. I agree with you in the fact that there are way too many people who think they are good pixelers although they are not. But I don't agree with you that they shouldn't post, I think most of these novice sig makers post here with the intention of getting better, such teh topics like: My first pixel sig rate and give advice and My newest sig! how can I improve. thanks ~Pigstein

It is a back ground layer ...

When I go to the Layer (or any other of these, e.g:view, edit ..etc) it's gray which means I can't use it how do I change this then?

Ok thanks, but now my problem is that the layer is locked which means I can't change the opacity. How do I unlock the layer??

I don't have a layer window, how do I open it? Right now I only have 2 windows open the picture and the tools window.....

Well I need to know how to fade in photoshop. And yes I have tried the HELP section this is what it says: To fade the effect of a filter, painting tool, or color adjustment: 1. Apply a filter, painting tool, or color adjustment to an image or selection. 2. With the affected area still selected, choose Edit > Fade. 3. Select the Preview option to preview the effect. 4. Drag the slider to adjust the opacity, from 0% (transparent) to 100%. (See Specifying opacity, flow, strength, or exposure.) 5. For Mode, choose a blending mode. (See Selecting a blending mode.) 6. Click OK. Note: The Color Dodge, Color Burn, Lighten, Darken, Difference, and Exclusion modes do not work on Lab images. Now that's double dutch to me, I was wondering could someone explain to me exactly what to do, and tell me where the things are (e.g: paint tool, or how do I apply a filter) thanks.

So basically what I need is: A guinea pig (looking like that one ^, remember sitck in her back!) eating lettuce (has a lettuce leaf in her mouth). in the the big lettuce part there should be a wizards wand sticking out. then on the right there should be a collapsed mage with a dead ranger at his feat (remember the wiz hat on the ranger). So basically the same as in the image, same text and all ( except make it no one steals my food ) . you can choose a good looking font. I want a blank background. try make it 5k size if possible, max 6. size of the image should be 225x100. thanks.
