Yeah, I think they've made it harder.. I have over ten more defense levels then I did the first two times I tried caves, and the monsters seemed to hit me MORE. There's just something a bit iffy about it. Joseph

Meh just tried my third time. Everything went well. Got to Jad, heard mage sound, turned on prayer, auto retailate bought me to him, he did mage about three times, sorta made me edgy about range.. so I thought I heard range, switched, wrong and he hit a 21. Switched back to mage and then he hits a 41 with range, so I still have about 40hp left, and I don't remember which but I got a prayer wrong and he kills me. Sad because on my second trip I had him at like 55% hp before I missed a prayer.. and that was the only one for that whole trip. Owell, have enough supplies.. gonna try again tomorrow or next night I think. Hard as hell I must say though. Joseph

Please do it soon :D I tried caves twice, first time I accidently switched worlds -.-, the second time it was 6am and I was so tired that I missed a prayer just before healers spawned and I died. Gonna try again soon now that I have much higher range, def and prayer. Though I'd love to see your new videos before I do. May I suggest using http://www.fileho.com to host them? Unlimited space, unlimited bandwidth, no waiting in line, etc. Joseph

I just ranged with iron knives and red chinchompas for over five hours straight in PC. Spent 100 tickets and total I gained around 330k~ xp.. Lvl86 now. Man, 99 is gonna take FOREVER. I used like 1100 chins too >_>. Joseph

Yeah, I've been doing slayer while ranging, but that's just too slow. Been ranging blue drags there recently actually. What kind of arrows do you use? I do have money, but I'm not filthy rich enough to waste millions on cannonballs hehe. Joseph

Well I'm lvl85 range on the way to 99, and I've noticed that range is one of the hardest skills to train. You can range fire giants all day for seven hours straight and not even get 200k xp. Perhaps people with 99 range can post and tell how they got there and how long it took. Even if I get 100k range xp a day(which would take 3-4 hours a day) It will still take me 97 more days to get lvl99. I've tried PC, and yes it's not that bad, but it gets extremely boring(specially without item drops.) And having to switch worlds, ect. It's just annoying. I know red chinchompas are supposedly very good, but I've never used them and I'd like it if people who've used them could post some more info, like average hits, average xp per one used, ect. Ask any questions needed. Thank you, Joseph

Yes, because you get extremely good exp at Barrows :shock: . Uh yeah? I went from 75-78 mage at barrows in about 70 trips, no other mage xp besides teles when needed. Joseph.

Thank you :) The silver thing is called a " Holy Wrench " It's from the Rum Deal quest, it restores an extra prayer point for each dose of Prayer pot you drink, quite useful. Joseph.
