They wait until the person runs out with their flag and then kill them outside of the Castle, Run around and most likely 80% of the time they will win.

wow.. really really good idea, sometimes i spend about 5 minutes in my bank looking for just one thing :x . this would help resolve many problems players experience during gameplay :D

I totally agree with you there, there have been many bans in the past months, where merchanters are seizing their chance to sell "rare items" even higher. i'm not saying that jagex shouldn't ban players if they break the rules, but they should investigate each account personally to see what has \ hasn't happened. :)
