I live in my own little world.
  1. After reading your rant (which was well written btw) I'd have to agree. This has got a bit off topic, yes some players might be able to go without sleep. Whether or not people go without sleep to play long hours would have nothing to do with how people react or don't react to random events. I have seen exactly what she is talking about first hand. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out which accounts are programs and which are actual people. As for people doing this sleep deprivation technique... Yes it is possible, but I doubt too many people practice this. 1% of players may do this, if that. Just say " NO " to cheating. :shame:
  2. Greetings everyone, this is my first trip into the forum in quite some time! I created a new avatar and incorporated my old one into my sig. Yes, I'm a HUGE Iron Maiden fan. I got hooked on their 1982 'Beast on the Road' tour. All comments welcome.
  3. On and off (mostly on) since February 2001. Combat Lvl 116 and 1703 Total Lvl. I remember when Rune 2-Handers sold for over 1 million gp each!
  4. The best solution is aggressive NPCs to patrol where the autoers mine and chop wood. These NPCs would only know 3 words: Destroy the autoers! Aggressive NPCs are the very reason why you don't see autoers mining in Edgeville Dungeon, Chasm Mine, or Dwarven Mine. They would be destroyed. Instead, they mine in Rimmington, the Mining Guild, the Essence Mine, and anyplace where there are no NPCs to threaten them. The fact that they are in the Mining Guild really irritates me. Other than the occasional random event, which they survive 99 out of 100 times, there is absolutely nothing to deter them from cutting trees.
  5. If a yew tree falls in the forest, and there are only autoers around, does it make a sound? :P
  6. I like the teleport spell for Ape Atoll...easy trips to the agility course. However, if there was a spell that destroyed autoers, it would jump to the top of my list! :D
  7. Scum-bots in their natural habitat. Jagex should fill the pillory with them and let people in F2P throw rotten tomatoes at them. :D
  8. The scum-bots have already ruined it. I rarely see a real player cutting yews. In fact, every yew tree has at least 5 scum-bots on it. They're like a plague of locusts!
  9. Ah yes, the good old days. I've been playing on and off since February 2001 and remember when rune 2-handers sold for over 1 million gp!
  10. Jagex has done little, if anything, to solve this problem. Macroers are still mining essence. Flooding the area with NPCs to attack them seems like the way to fix it. I just killed 2 macroers by closing the magic shop door and trapping them inside with a lvl 6 mugger. They simply stood there and got beaten like rented mules until they were dead. :D
  11. The most simple solution is usually best. Ban every level 3 character that has only one skill with experience...mining. Buh-bye to all the auto miners! :D
  12. Knowing Jagex, we'll get 10 new items and only 1 new bank space. :P
  13. Yay! Another useless item to clutter up banks.
