Level 120 capes poll confirmed to come soon on a Gameblast Q&A. So that means our options could end up something like this: Yes, but only for 104m xp in a single skill. Yes, but only for 200m xp in a single skill. Yes, but only if the level cap is raised to 120. No I would rather not have to work that hard in a single skill for a cape. Edit: If these come into game this could change up potential comp trim reqs a lot.

Its supposed to be a runescape themed event for easter. Then again it is supposed to be a fun world event... so should we expect a 4 week event for the month? Certainly 6 weeks seem crazy for an easter event.

Port update: I thought I would fill you all in on what loop crew I have thus far: 4 seafort guard, 2 party animal, 1 pearl diver, 1 tcm and 1 wisp. Still NO new captains? I'm still sitting on 4 jod and 3 ox. I'm not sure if any of them should be replaced. I hear I should be using more merchants, but how many? What's the ideal loop setup?

And in everyone single one of those instances where you need tank armour, on a team of however many people, only one person needs it, and everyone else simply uses DPS gear, thus greatly restricting the utility of, and demand for, tank gear.Well you have the people who are new and learning. Everyone always counts them out on these discussions. Its probably because everyone has the mentality of "go big or go home" with gear. You only honestly see people mention tank gear when people legitimately asking for advice on learning a dps role and maybe tanking. Things like the pricing of drygore, ascsnsion and siesmic weapons compared to their halfstep and full step counterparts are examples of this mentality. I mean even the newly released halfstep counterpart to virtus wand and book is worth about 20m. Virtus wand and book is worth aboit 160m total. To me that tells me the community holds the top dps counterparts at an extremely higher standard that it really should be.

The RNG gods have shown on me! I got a combat crew rolling my dailies. Then I did the reasinger random and got two crew rerolls and got another combat crew in 3 rolls. I have over 1000 cotta stocked up. When my voyages return I'm going to buy the two combat crew.

Honestly tank and power sets should have a buff. The buff for a shield might need to be bumped up a bit though to justify using a shield if armour gets buffed too. Their original idea was tank armour getting a damage reduction percentage based on defense level, Average gear level and shield level. A 10% damage reduction per section totalling 30% max is possible. With that said I think a shield should carry a heavier bonus of 20% at max item level. With 99 defense, t90 gear and a t90 shield that's still only 27% damage reduction mind you.

So I broke down and bought the rudder for the sake of making progress.

Captains log: This is the third day... our men are hearing rumours that the old port has run dry. The port master won't pay us... Yes, third day without loop crew other than a tcm and reefwalker. I'm thinking of buying the rudder if my crew rolls keep crapping out on me. I'm almost at 2500 as is.

Almost two reefwalker capes and two leviathan rings... that's about 9-10m if you sold it roughly.

I think it is an even trade regardless. No one should complain really with revolution coming right after bxpw I think. That just sweet bliss...

115 ancient bones into 1500 mh and 1375 oh dl darts... Not sure how I'll use them, but I think that puts me in a better pvm position. I broke the rest of my cash stack on ascension shards, but after this weeks update i think it was worth it. Next up I think abyssal orb so... 6-7m?
