Just having good range will totally pay off. At lvl 70 I hunt blue dragon and it has paid off all the arrows/knives I have used training range. Totally raise your range.

I'm trying to make a mud rune for the new quest, I have my earth tally, earth runes, and pure ess, but I can't get into the water altar area. Can someone tell me how? Do I need a water tali too?
