How and when did you get Tanzania? I definiatly expressed interest in it before you had it, and by the looks of the map, you have more than enough land. Do your diplomatic stances belittle my own? I'd like to debate it. You said you wanted the country above Zimbabwe, which was already a Brazilian owned territory. Had that been the case, I wouldn't be [bleep] about it. I sent a siplomat over there while it was still white. You can find my quote somewhere between pages 170 and 173. Any under the table deals you had with Brazil is irrelevant. Nothing is true until it's public. The deal with Brazil doesn't really matter at this point, as that wasn't one of countries I stood to gain. Maybe Doom will compromise and give you half of Tanzania, idk. Just pm her.

Guess who doesn't understand how a radio works. I get how it works. Hopefully the Germanian people like me for stopping them listen to the propaganda and come to my side! Propaganda says the guy who holds the middle east, calls his empire "Jerusalem" and has a cross on its national flag. Yeah, my people are brainwashed with propaganda. We were actually at the "Twenty minutes of hate" part, but I forgive your mistake. How and when did you get Tanzania? We're talking about the Atlantic ocean though. But okay, I assume the next response would be to say that they power down so that detecting them is something like 0.001%, so I'll just assume that, neh? Alright, so, Germanian subs manage to sink a few convoy ships, a number of supply ships, and a pair of navy vessels before Brazil adopts this new tactic. Germanian subs commanders (obviously unknowing of this change in tactics) carry on their raiding, and the traps get sprung. I lose around 6 subs before we change tactics, meaning that a few more supply ships are reaching Brazil territories a month, though not enough to keep Portugal supplied I think. Germanian subs will now use the tactic of shadowing convoys for at least a couple days, to make sure that there are no hidden subs lurking around to protect them, and then they will strike. If there are subs, then they will slink away and find another target, but mark the sub location on a map that's transmitted to Navy command, which after a year or so should give a fairly accurate numerical sub strength of the Brazilian navy. Yeah, I figured that since it was so far away that supplying it would mean a constant convoy line to Portugal. I was hoping you would redouble your efforts to supply the area, though, so I could sink more shippy ships with my subs haha. Don't forget about the huge offensive being mounted in Kenya right now. Germanian troops in Tanzania have been told to continue guerilla attacks, and conserve supplies, as it's unknown whether or not the Kenyan offensive will be successful, and they'll be relieved. Germanian troops have orders that state that if they have to take food or supplies from a population, that they only take 50%, so as to show the citizens of Tanzania that Germania is not its enemy. The first few transport ships have arrived carrying additional troops to the Germanian forces in Quebec (the ships are the ones I sneaked around the North Pole, idk if you missed that or not - if you did just let me know and we'll run this one through again). Some of the troops are now staging an assault on Prince Edward Island, with losses expected to be relatively low due to the low garrison size (it is a low garrison size, no? I don't remember you saying you were reinforcing it or not). Germanian forces in Quebec have started entrenching themselves as well, due to the lack of a concentrated counter-attack. The troops expect a massive attack due to the quietness of Brazilian forces in the past weeks. Around 2 dozen Germanian troops have also begun sneaking behind Brazilian lines during the night(2 dozen each night), in pairs of ones and twos. Around 50% of them are caught, but the others have orders to move and regroup in a presently undisclosed location (can't exactly tell you, can I? :P ) Oh bugger. I forgot about your troops in Norway. Alright, due to that negligence on my part, I'm going to say you take a beachhead and and manage to hold a grip on a few miles inland of that beach-head, enough to maneuver your forces around in. How many troops do you have? Hm. Take the number of troops you have attacking, and make my casualties half that. Reinforcements are being rushed from Germania, around 250,000 in total, including some of Germania's most die-hard veteran fighters and crazy norse pagan fighters (aka berserkers hehe). Oh. Kk, Germanian troops pushing heavy, and a large portion of the African airforce has been dedicated to this sector, while Germanian troops hold off assaults elsewhere along the African frontline. The aircraft are being prioritized to go after supply convoys and heavy artillery/tanks, but are taking casualties due to Brazil's anti-air defenses and own air force. Germanian troops in Tanzania have also been given orders to attack/delay supply convoys, in order to cut off Brazil's troops access to ammunition (which they're probably burning through at an insane rate). Yea, price is a weakness, but I want to figure out a way to blow them the crap up haha. edit: You guys burned through an entire page while I was typing this haha What? You never mentioned that before. :? Your plane ran into a seagull. Going at that speed, it flew through the cockpit, killing the pilot and crashing the plane. Germanian scientists are now studying it. Oh! Breakthrough! We've managed to build our own Talons, 4000 should be ready in a week, and for a cost of 10 cents each. Actually, no. We've found the plans to build the Talon in Nigeria. Apparently one of your chief scientists got scam't hard.

been building them up for quite some time anyways they are unmanned (UnMannedRocketFighters) Lol. Rocket fighters have been obsolete for (in-game) around 100 years now.

Told you I was no good at math.

FFA. Alliances mean nothing in this peyote-induced world. If the cities were indeed evac'd at the start of the war, then the casualties would be something like 45,000 dead (essentially personnel/stubborn citizens), and around 9,000 military casualties. GRIM Post what you're doing to counter your opponents moves man. Sending 2000 planes isn't going to stop an army, it's just going to slow them down. Likewise, sending a bunch of HAWs isn't going to stop anyone, as they're giant support vehicles. It would be like me sending all my artillery forces to fight a war and not sending the infantry in with them.

We are now moving the mirrors so that they flash to tehran  Anyways my army is mobilized and wouldnt you have to go through several ffa countries? also the reinforcement has been completed.... seeing this and realizing that burma has no missile shield malayisa proceeds to launch a 150 ICBM volley at the major cities of burma All cities have been evacuated. Now, this needs a number generator. I will do it and edit it in, just watch for it. Alright. 150 ICBMs are launched at Burma. There is a very small chance that a few would be intercepted by another country nearby before they realized they weren't aimed at them. We'll take the number roll divided by 10. Roll: 62 (round down to 60). Ouch. 6 ICBMs are intercepted by another country nearby and destroyed. 154 ICBMs en route. Since Burma doesn't have a missile shield, but there are other ways to destroy incoming ICBMs, we'll put that at roll/5. Result: 13 (round down to 10). 2 ICBMs are destroyed by Burma's archaic defenses. 152 ICBMs en route. There is a strong chance that the missiles will end up hitting somewhere due to improper target co-ords, weather variations, electronical failures, etc. Roll/3 Result: 40 13 ICBMs land in farmland or harmless locations. 139 ICBMs en route. Complete failure/aborted launches will take up a small percentage as well, Roll/5. Result: 95. Wow. 19 ICBMs completely fail/are aborted (maybe the operators were drunk or something?) 120 ICBMs en route. Okay, now to work out Burma's casaulties. I'd say, since there was very little warning, that a roll of 1-10 will mean that the majority of citizens got out okay, a roll of 11-30 would be around 50% got out okay, while 31+ would mean nobody got out okay (eg. horrendous casaulties). Result: 21. Lucky Burma. 50% of the people get out of the main cities okay, but since the evacuation is in progress, everyone is packed together pretty tight. 120 ICBMs fall into Burma's major cities, causing around 1 million civilian casualties, and around 75,000 troops casualties (they would've been helping with the evac). Is that okay? I don't really know about the casualties it would cause, as I couldn't find any relevant data for it on the intarwebz.

You never actually stated that the drones had that sort of capability, or the capability to transfer their AI to something like an AA turret, so I'm going to have to say that tactic is off the map (sorry mate). Looks like Doom is willing to judge as well, which is good, since I suck at math :P I send a drone with a peashooter to smash whatever you're drinking out of. I'm already done and I've thought it over. Dusty wanted to go after me first...I guess he wants to fight again? I DECLARE WAR ON GERMANIA! Meet my FX-Talon!!! My troops are on full alert along the border line, with heavy reserves waiting to fill any gaps that might show along the line. My static AA guns have been loaded with small rockets with a giant ball attached to them which will explode once the rocket reaches its intended height, showering shrapnel all over that point. My radar is on full power, meaning any Talons (which are a stupid thing, I don't even know why I'm acknowledging their existence) will be detected coming from miles away. Eh, it's no problem. Germanian naval vessels at the vanguard engage with the Brazilian ships, 1 Germanian destroyer is sunk due to a lucky hit that managed to get its way into the munitions bay, but otherwise the ships scare off Brazil's handful of vessels, and the amphibious assault proceeds. Germanian high command chose its location well, but there is still some resistance. Brazilian reserve troops are rushed up, but since there were no fortified positions guarding the beach-head, Germania manages to secure the land without taking horrendous casualties. Around 20,000 troops took place in the attack, and suffered around 5,000 casaulties, of which 2000 are expected to recover in a few months and be back in the fight. A further 50,000 troops were brought up, and have begun digging into the land gains in Quebec. Germania has also sent a few transport ships to the Canadian arctic isles, going straight north from Germania, and around the north pole so as to avoid the Brazilian ships swarming all over the Atlantic. Germania has launched all its subs, with order to engage in hit and run attacks on all supply vessels, and military vessels that aren't guarded by destroyers. Germania is also staging a second assault on Tanzania, below the frontline and deep behind enemy lines. Germanian troops have redoubled their offensive along Kenya, in the hopes of breaking through and reuniting with the forces that are attacking Tanzania (if it goes to plan - which it probably won't). The assault in Portugal has ground to pretty much an assault. Germania has made some more land gains, but the over-whelming resistance from Brazilian troops has forced a stalemate along the border. With the Germanian navy patrolling Portugal's borders, and heavy air force activity on both sides, Germania hopes to cut dry the supplies from Brazilian troops in Portugal and force their hand. Now I just need to figure out a way to destroy your HSIF bombers. Frak. Those things would be so annoying. Also, Doom, I think our soldiers are pretty evenly matched, so we don't need to factor in all the tech stuff. Your troops have better guns, training, and have the advantage of being the defender, while mine have a slew of bio improvements and a scattering of exosuits.

Agreed. Though I doubt the two of us will actually go to war before we both have super-duper spaceships and can fight with lasers in zero-g, but yea. I'll write up a response to the other stuff you posted in a few minutes, just going to pop outside for a bit. good because they have been spotted and close to 2,000 planes are now en route to them Planes don't destroy armies. They just harass them.

I think I can give judging your moves a shot. Just need Dusty's next move. Also, my pods carry 15 drones each. Think of it like flatpacked furniture. Robots don't need personal space  There are 2580 drones currently in Malaysia. They have been instructed to climb the HAWs, and launch their weapons directly into the joints from a point blank range. My HAW's have armor around the joints so all im gonna say is good luck also they have blunderbuss like cannons that can either shoot pure shrapnel or exploding pellets(in this case they would be shooting pellets) so while they are climbing up the have an incendiary round lodged up there arse In that case, they have been instructed to aim for the cameras that are used to see the outside world from within. I'm working on judging Dusty and Doom's combat at the moment, but it might take a few minutes, since you guys are incredibly detailed. I don't suppose you could do a summary of the variables for me? Heh. The way I'm looking at the drones vs HAW scenario is that the drones have a huge advantage. They'll probably just swarm the thing, and then once they're on it, what's it going to do? Shoot its own leg off to kill them? Also, the big thing about the HAW is the scare effect it would have, which wouldn't work on AI drones, since they have no fear. I'll work on the numbers once you guys post a bit more, since there's not really all that much info to go on right now.

Idk if me and Doom really need a war judge, unless an argument starts over something. Hmm. Bugger. Okay, here goes. Germanian troops rush into the opening in Somalia, but quickly find themselves bogged down by heavy fighting by guerrilla fighters. Germanian artillery support has been brought up, and the laborious exercise of urban warfare is being fought. Outside of the cities, guerrillas are being combated with napalm dropped from low-flying bombers, which is particularly effective against the guerrillas as they have no anti-air weapons. Due to the hit and run tactics by Brazilian forces, Germanian troops have begun to lay traps and roll with false convoys, in order to tempt the Brazilian forces. It was successful at first, resulting in some pretty nasty Brazilian casualties, but the Brazilians quickly stopped hitting such tempting targets, or at least thought twice about it (reasonable, Doom?). Facing heavy pressure from the Brazilian navy, the Germanian navy has retreated back along the coast. The plan is still to intercept supplies and reinforcements, but not expose Germanian naval vessels so much, as along the coast they'll still have air support from the Germanian air force. Germanian troops have been taking heavy losses along the Portugese front, though they've managed to break through in a couple places along the line, thanks in part to the Scorpion heavy artillery tanks that were brought up into close combat (much to the behest of their designer), and used to blow apart bunkers. The Scorpions involved were hit hard by Brazilian air planes and ground troops armed with anti-tank weapons, suffering nearly 80% casualties (meaning around 16 of the 20 that attacked are either destroyed or so badly damaged that they're just scrap metal now). Germanian troops are stubbornly holding onto these positions, and a further million troops have been called up into the attack, bringing fresh reinforcements and a much need boost of morale to the assaulting Germanian troops. Btw Doom, I have that amphibious assault going on in Quebec, in case you missed it.

Alright, you lose 1 drone for every 3 that the roll comes up to, to compensate for defense systems knocking them off course, or navigation on the pods failing. Result: 68 You lost 22 pods due to error. Total of 178 pods make their way into Malaysia. You lose 1 pod for the roll divided by 5, to compensate for them falling somewhere where they are useless (a drone operating by electricity can't exactly swim up from a lake that the pod lands in), or somehow being destroyed on contact. Result: 28 (round up to 30) You lose 6 pods due to crashing in weird places/destruction Of the 200 pods launched, 172 make it in intact. These pods can't really carry a lot of drones, though. IF they're small enough to be so fast and heavily armoured that they can just brush past missile defense, I'd say 5 drones per pod is reasonable.

Those battalions have been crushed by my 5 million man standing army... No, they havn't. Those bataillions had well over 1000 men each, along with tanks, planes and other vehicles. Plus, you didn't know where they were, so you couldn't have crushed them. yes and my HAW's are sent out in scouting missions in groups of 10 along with general scouting by UMRF's Cambodia is now being invaded by 3 million infantry half of my airforce 2,000 planes and 250 HAW's also civillians have been evacuated from all major cities... WHAT DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND ABOUT THIS Read the last few pages. Specifically, my posts, as they contain the basic rules for our new war mechanic. Hehehe. He's sending 20 stories high things out scouting. They'd see those things from miles off hahaha.
-
Alright, you can't really judge battles unless people post how many people they have attacking. "a bunch of battalions" (I see you've expanded on this above kirby :) ) isn't a number, as it could range from 5000-100,000. So, for each side, someone posts their attacking forces, and their strategy, and the defender posts their defending troops, and their strategy, and then the war judge works out the probability and rolls for them. And just because someone's military has x amount of people in it, that doesn't mean that they have that many people defending a certain point. If you have a 5 million man army, and an empire seperated by the sea, you won't be able to pull them all into one place to defend against an attack. From now on the "My whole army defeated your assault" isn't a viable tactic, as it means that everywhere else has nobody defending it.
-
Oh dear, I lol'd. And if Hedgehog argues about that, just say they got there by sailing through Findenland's rivers in dingy boats made out of unicorn flesh. It's a bullet-proof plan.
-
People probably won't like me being a judge. But seeing as you're never at war.. ACTUALLY WAIT. I'm not invading Jerusalem. I'm invading Brazil! Let's do some fisticuffs Doom. 2 million troops swarm over the Portugese border, howling like wild animals (we are pagans after all), while 3 million move forward all along the African border, and start pushing hard against Brazilian positions. Air support for Africa is heaviest, as well as having the highest concentration of MAASs and Scorpions, and those are being used to their fullest potential. The German navy has also moved into the Atlantic, to try and cut off any supplies going from SA to Africa, or any troops being sent as reinforcements to the defending Brazilian forces in either Africa or Portugal. The Iceland navy is being mobilized as well, and has picked up troops from both Iceland and Greenland, and is staging an amphibious assault on Quebec's shoreline. LET'S DO THIS Let's see how the "end of days" war plays out, yeh?

Never mind, you are correct. I misspelled "like".

Yes/no? I have some fun plans for India... I already said no, but the end decision is Adrenal's. And I'm in for a weird war, as long as it has no effect on the actual game. But you said that the reason you didn't want let me have it was because you were concerned that I'd declare war on you again. I don't plan to do that. So where's the harm? :( I think we should do a free for all so we don't cause any more bad feeling tbh You don't plan to do it at the moment. And here's the border security project I have going on (will take around 8 years to complete): The plan is to bring as many big ol' rocks to the borders that Germania shares with other countries, then lay them on top of eachother, putting reinforced concrete to fill in the gaps (Libya-Egypt, Africa-Brazil, Spain-Portugal, Germania-Findenland, and lastly Germania-Russia). It'll provide a logistical nightmare for anyone wanting to get heavy equipment into Germanian controlled land. To do so, they'd have to either bring it into the tunnels (which will be closed), or bring a crane and lift them high up onto the raised ledge, and then take them across that distance, and then somehow get them down the other side again (all the while taking artillery fire, and fire from the troops in the bunkers). Either that or they'll have to stage an amphibious assault against my heavily defended shorelines, and get them there like that. The drawing isn't really to scale, though. It'll be more life 500 feet to bring it up, then a mile to cross. Finally, if the wall falls into enemy hands, the high explosives will be remotely detonated (they're completely protected, and won't go off unless they get the correct signal, from the correct terminal, from the correct blahblah, etc), which will turn that section into a completely impassable (by heavy stuff) mini-mountain. Anyways, I'm up for a FFA. I've invaded Jerusalem with around 3 million troops, with the MAASs advancing with them, and the Scorpions blasting at any resistance-heavy location.

Why ? Rocco is highly underqualified. Well then you choose someone  Germania is reinforcing its borders, I'll draw something up to show you when I get around to it. It should take 7 or 8 years for the project to be completed, and will provide employment for around 300,000 workers.

I could go dig up the sequence of events, but I can't be arsed to. No worries, I do the same.
-
To do that I would've had to acknowledge that you actually had control of Berlin, which wasn't going to happen. And the fact that such a stupid weapon could exist, which also wasn't going to happen. It's not a win button. It's a deterrant button. It would [bleep] everyone up, including the person who used it. That's actually exactly what happened. -- It looks good Ross.

Not to mention that if either of us somehow ended up getting the upper-hand, the other person would just start crashing spaceships into Earth. I can do that too :( Gonna take a look for my suggested rules myself. Yea, but once we start running out of spaceships me and Doom can start crashing shipyard and battle stations as well.

The war was stopped because nobody was doing anything reasonable. Findenland "captured" my capital and lost 300 men, somehow managing to sneak 200,000 troops into Germany. And then Latino kept going back and forth as to what he was doing, so it was impossible to post my response, since it went something like this: Latino: I attack in Africa Me: Germanian troops pulling back in the face of massive attack, scorched earth strategy Latino: Haha I only attacked with my air force, you just killed your people! Me: ... Ok, then my troops haven't pulled back, since you never attacked with land forces Latino: No! I attacked with drones! :?
