Lol. I know how you feel!! Ssjgoku114, I was number 2000 to join this game :). Been around since the beginning longer than almost every single player playing this game. Look me up... now because I don't have a 2000k total and 1 bil net worth, I'm a noob to most. Sad because everyone you mentioned I've been close to/helped/ met/trained with in someway or time. Bluerose and I met when herblore came out and we also met way back in rsc days when she was giving out free bronze. My how time flys. I wish there were more genuine people left in RS, I'm rarely on anymore...

It really just kind of came to me when thinking about.. Skill total. For you Scapers who were around with me back in the day, back when hitting the big "1337" or "l33t" skill total was a big, highly respected deal... I ask you, what is the new "l33t"?. Nowadays, is it just an item? a set? or a pixel'd hat...? Is it bunny ears? I know I love mine Is it a Scythe? Is "l33t" now a higher total, perhaps 1700? In that case, why is it still "l33t". Eh just a random question that popped in my mind, feel free to leave feedback. Or maybe "l33t" is being there for your fellow man :wink: Or in our case... Pixel'd Sprite

I stumbled across it this morning, and basically... it is a mother and her 14 year old daughter sueing Myspace because she was sexually assaulted and raped by a 19 year old male appearing to be in High School. Well, I don't agree with that at all. You're supposed to be 16 before signing up for a myspace anyway, and if you arn't, you're profile is not VIEWABLE by people you don't know. So 1, she lied about her age... 2.) Why add a 19 year old stranger, you've NEVER known or trusted before in your life, then allow this man to pick you up for school and take you out to dinner and a movie.. you're 14!!! RS3 please explain? isnt closed because its a funny little fact about the game we all play and enjoy RS3 perhaps RSC- the beginning, best time in RS ever ;) I miss it so much RS2- Graphics update, P2P FTW? RS3- Recent overhaul of the entire system including graphics. That MAJOR not so obvious upgrade they made a month or two back. My two cents. :wink:

Hmm... Well on the topic of your behalf... I do agree it would be nice for the P-hats to be sold for simply "100 gp each", but also it would bother me. We have bigger problems to worry about like bug-abusers, hackers, and immature children but yet we worry about a party hat? I've played since January 2001, and ever since they were released that Christmas, I haven't EVER had a p-hat. When they come out, they were a FUN item. People gave them as gifts, runescape lived happy. There was no money in the economy then, so levels were HARDER to get, and money was MUCH harder to come by. With the release of memberes, and high-alching, money came into this game so much easier. But I myself own a pair of "bunny ears". There's limited people in the game who own these, because they we're the first un-tradeable rares that came out LONG ago, often before many players. I look at them as my status symbol, so when people come up and say "your a n00b, im l33xer then j00", I either disregard it or say, "Just look at my head". It shows years of experience long beyond theirs. It would bug me if people could just "buy" these ears from the store. It's saying that my time here on runescape was worth 25gp? No thanks. Party hats will stay, although having one is a nice though. Money is easy to get these days, just gotta know how :) Kev-

OMG! Finally someone who understands my pain and feels the exact way I do! I'm just like you, been around since Jan. 2001, and I'm ashamed of what the games came out to be. I'm extremely proud of Paul, Andrew, Ian, Mark and everyone else at Jagex who make this game better... but the people have gone down hill. When I first started playing there were like, what, MAYBE 80 total people. Everyone stole iron daggers to sell at the general store to get money, everyone constantly held clan wars at as you said, "the cabbage field of death", amen died many of times there, and outside the Varrok bank, died there many of times too-- There were also the two main clans, Sabre's and Messiah, I was neither so I was constantly owned by both sides, countlessly mining coal and being killed because of PK/Non-Pk and I got stuck, PK!! Now everyone today is about.. OMG Ch00b I'm l33tzor cause I have better skills than you!~! I'm ashmade when I hear ppl talk like that, I've played since January 2001 and I have 1143 skill total w/ 86 combat, whoopdi do. I get out and do other things with my life and try to have some fun. People need to stop ranting for updates, actually, I think people would enjoy rs MUCH more the way it originally started. Varrok, Lumbridge-- ANTICIPATING the vampire slayer quest at draynor, no al khaird, no draynor bank, no fishing, herblore, theving, rc and such-- No faldor either, no banks period for a while, pk/non-pk, no rune, good/evil magic, prayers that were useless, YEA STOP COMPLAINING PEOPLE-- ~Kev
