I was level 55 when rs2 beta came out, so I consider myself a veteran. To me a veteran is somebody who knows a lot about the game, as well as someone who agrees that Jagex has changed a lot over time.

Stop basing what is over/underpowered off what ko's in level 1 wilderness. Once you do that, everything is pretty much equal.

Hi everybody! :thumbsup: Here is, well, you guessed it, my barrows log! I've been doing barrows constantly for the last month, and haven't had the best of luck, but i'm going to keep doing it untill I have 10M profit. ____________________ The gear: Yeah, ring of wealth, i'm a believer \ Inventory: The process: 1. Start from canifis bank to the myreque shortcut. 2. Enter dharoks tomb. Then kill karil, verac, torag, guthan, and ahrim. In that order. 3. Drop down into tunnels, killing whichever brother is down there, getting 16 kc and looting the chest. 4. House tele out, recharge pray+portal to canifis from house, and repeat the process. FACTS: -I only use prayer doses when dharok is the tomb, 2-3 doses when that happens. -I'm getting 10m so I can start training slayer again. -Feel free to talk to me in-game, i'm a really friendly person :thumbsup: THE LOG ITSELF: MORE TO COME IN TIME!

DISCLAIMER: PLEASE DO NOT MENTION ANY NAMES IN THIS TOPIC, THIS IS NOT TO DISCUSS PLAYER MODS IN PARTICULAR, BUT IN GENERAL. __________________________ Player mods. Is the ability for Jagex to give other players modship in the game justified? Do they do more harm than good? Or are they a fantastic addition to Runescape? Can they be improved? My opinion is split. I've seen many player mods take care of autotypers and unruly players, however, i've also been reported up to 7 black marks, and muted for 3 days because of multiple corrupt players mods over time (as well as player mods who don't know what's going on as they come across it. ie. me and my clanmates hanging out at fishing guild goofing off, as well as a convo that begins as somebody asks what states everybody is from, and it narrows and narrows from there. Turns out a kid at the w9 fishing guild I was in goes to my high school, me and him have been friends since :) .) Also, some of you who hang out in the tipit clan chat may have remembered the day not too long ago a certain p mod (who most likely got their account stolen) started giving 3 day mutes to everybody who spoke in the channel, I was one of those people. Overall, I believe the selection should be based on time played. I'd rather have a grumpy rs vet taking care of reports than a happy new guy. There are so many mods nowadays that don't even know much about the game itself (Yes, even those 120+ p mods). And like the post two posts down, I agree that Jagex is picking quantity over quality. You can barely walk into a bank now without a p mod being there. Perhaps it's better that the crowns are removed, but they still have report priority? Only then will we see who is truly motivated to handle the duty, instead of those who do it for the "fame" and easy merchanting in world 2? Let's hear what you guys think :)

Well, i'm going to make this short and sweet, and this is not a rant, i'm just wanting to see everyone's opinions. 1. What is safing to you? Do you think it is good or bad? Do you consider it to be regular eating, and is it smart to do it? 2. What is farcasting to you? Do you think it is good or bad? Do you consider it to be a smart use of magic, or just "unhonorable"? 3. Melee/range/magic protect in 1v1 in deep wild, what do you think of this? Some say it's unhonorable, but, there really is nothing stopping you from doing it in deep wild (as compared to doing it in edge). Your views? Now, just to clear a few things up, I do the first two, and don't do the third. And yes, I do get some great pk's in doing so, safing doesn't mean you never get pk's. It just keeps you alive long enough to get one :) These questions spring up mostly because i've been playing Runescape since 2002 (was lvl 55 when rs2 beta came out) these are some terms that have sprung up over time, so, what do you guys think of them?

Because you can't go anywhere in the wilderness without being constantly shouted at about it. It's really annoying. I've been playing since 2002, and there was never immature problems like this. Basically, i'm frustrated at how far pking has fallen in the past couple of years.

That's probably because once a pure is at a high level..it's pretty much either a main or a second main at that point.

They don't exist. Farcasting is called maging. Anybody who mages up close to a guy whipping and ddsing them is an idiot. Why use ancients if you aren't going to make use of the bind? And safing. Well, let me rephrase, eating. Eating is what keeps you alive. If you choose to only eat at 40hp, have fun getting taken out in 1 hit. I eat to full hp, and you know what? I get pk's all the time. I've pk'd furies, dharoks, and whips, from SAFING! Jesus christ, the pk world in rs seems to have been burned down to nothing but a bunch of kids yelling at each other so they can die quicker. What's next? OMG ARMORER! OMG ATTACKER! OMG RS PLAYER! (For the record, I prefer this to be more of a general discussion than a rant, hence the posting of it here, I would really appreciate it if this didn't get moved)

Their main isn't effected at all, simple as that. People are so unruly on pures because they know it's not their main, and not their true account. Therefore, the player then tends to act more unruly, or in a lot of cases, "noobishly" on purpose, simply because they can. I've made a f2p pure, and i've found this to be true. I've noticed it with the other people I pk with and against in f2p, and they've even admitted it as well. I even find myself acting differently on my pure. Of course, it may be different for pures that are members, seeing as how they're actually paying money to play that pure, and getting banned in p2p is a much harder blow than getting banned f2p. The fact that a majority of them are under the age of 16 doesn't help either. Call me ignorant, tell me i'm a genralizing fool, but to be honest, I don't care about pures. I don't like them. Simple as that. If that doesn't please you, i'm sorry. I guess I just find someone with 99 def, atk and str to be more effective than someone with just 99 atk and str.

Which is better for killing monsters/pvp PC outfit (+10% damage) or black dhide, for ranging. PC outfit (+10% mage damage) or ahrims, for maging. Thanks :D
