  1. Fairly certain the character you're referring to is still banned, he made a new char 'Luke Broz' when Luke was banned and just got the name moved recently however.
  2. Even if that was his estimated wbs exp/hr then construction herb and farming would also be listed at 2.4M?
  3. Just curious the rational on 2.4M for mining and smithing per hour?
  4. Speaking of which, what happened to dapledo? I don't know what he changed his name to or if he unsubscribed at the point where ftp were taken off the hiscores He's rank 30 now, still under the name Dapledo I'm guessing you're using Indy's Highscores which has cached stats of some players, hes actually not on the real highscores but would be rank 37 if he still were.
  5. Isn't the whole point of botting to not be at the computer anyway? I guess you sat there for hours babysitting your macro, interesting use seeing as nearly all of rs is afkable now anyway.
  6. More than 1.1b off that goal, few things play into that however - the effigy nerf, lack of training in the fast buyable skills (predominately prayer and construction), and the date set is still a month and a half away. He also mentioned it was a lofty goal and would be hard to reach even if things went to plan, still interesting to see one's progress over the course of a year. To those curious...in reference to this video- /watch?v=g2t-L3YCar0
  7. Pretty sure he has little to no money, but anyway yeah hes been putting up nice numbers.
  8. It's great to see he's been able to stick with his original intention of playing less. When most people at the high end, rank-wise lose interest they will simply quit all together.
  9. He already stated his refusal to merch so that knocks out half of your 'smart' options, by the time he started working on the buyables those eras of big margins had passed. You seem to act as though flipping 2k furies was an easy process as well, not counting the fact you needed an initial 20b+(nearly enough for 200m buyables already) to merch 2k furies in that era, 20b pre-dicing was not very common at all. There's a lot of simplification in your post, but there's a reason only 30 people are 200m prayer, herb, craft, or con and even less with all 4 - not everyone can do it and money is that reason. They're all among the fastest skills to train, money is the limiting factor in them. Anyway no sense in arguing over how his money was obtained, he still has put in significantly more effort then anyone else. People will always have their own impression of respectable or not respectable ways people can/have made their money, all of which won't change their place on the highscores.
  10. Congrats on completionist cape!! yay! :D

  11. So Jdela changed his name to "I have Quit", this is pretty sad to see as he's been a longstanding front pager and quite an intellectual poster on the HLF forums in the past. With that said, can't say I blame him with the direction the game has been going. This of course is assuming he's going to follow through as his name indicates.
  12. The top 15 isn't stagnant, by the time he has 2.1b exp it will probably require ~2.3b and he will be out of afk/buyable skills. Then we see what he can actually do without fast skills handed to him via dice rank.
  13. That might worthwhile if only tracking the the very top end players, <200 usernames, but her list encompasses thousands of usernames and has more sections then the one I posted above with different criteria of evaluating players. None of it is manually generated and probably not worth the time to her as shes been keeping the list updated weekly for over 2 years with no gain aside from thankful players. But as you described, it does definitely sound possible with enough motivation.
  14. It wasn't an issue until the f2p highscores was removed, now it's far too much effort to differentiate who simply changed their name vs going f2p, and players who were previous f2p regaining members newly popping up on the highscores. It's probably possible but just a pain to do.
  15. Rach keeps a topic on HLF with this sort of information I'll paste it here... PLAYERS WITH MOST 200M SKILLS PLAYERS WITH MOST 100M SKILLS PLAYERS WITH MOST 50M SKILLS Note- this will not include people who have fallen off the highscores or changed their name in the past 2-3 months.
  16. How do both me and you have less time than Buyableking and Buyable King? :o It's due to the effigy calculation which really sways the time, people with low combat exp get a very nice boost in the calculations. Not too long ago I slayed for around 10 hours on a saturday and due to poor effigy luck my time to 200m all actually went up based on the spreadsheets heh.
  17. I'd say just post it A13d, the last one was very well written and far more worthy of a read then the current trend of discussing people who are thousands of hours of the most efficient gameplay behind... It was great of langer to start the weekly updates but since he's gone we shouldn't just not have them when someone is volunteering to fill in.
  18. Well 'having it banked' is more then half the trouble with buyables. Until recently with dicing, bots driving herb prices down, bonus exp weekends, and gp inflation in general players didn't have the funds needed to train expensive skills like herblore all the way to 200M. Iit's also important to note with your comparison to fishing that there are less players with 200M herb then fishing and the top end highscores is significantly more spread out in herblore, I imagine this will radically change in the coming months however. I don't mean to convey that fishing is easier then herblore because obviously it isn't, but when considering buyables don't discredit time needed to fund the skill as well. Dicing and free trade have really thrown off this equilibrium in training buyables vs nonbuyables in overall speed taking into account money making as a factor.
  19. Erm seeing as people are still discussing it in the previous few posts, it's clearly a still relevant issue that's being debated.
  20. I dislike rumors as much as the next person but I've too heard from a credible person that there may be more than vacation inactivity for Elias. People of course can change their minds too, guess we'll find out in the near future.
  21. Money isn't as big of a factor as it once was, you now see people getting rich overnight with dicing. Also the picture you are referring to is atleast three years old, generally people that have held onto rares for many years aren't suddenly likely to cash them all in and end up quitting with them never leaving their bank. If he actually plans to sell them then he could big in for some fast experience however. I personally hope Simon does well as he's one of the few top players who actually played RSC, kngkyle will fit that tab as well when he enters. To anyone who missed his bank on the first posting -
  22. If you're going to just copy the work of another person then you should give them credit, Rach puts a lot of effort into that topic. Very ironic of you to say if 'you have time' as though copying and pasting takes more then a few seconds?
  23. I wouldn't read too much into the list as it's only useful as a starting point. The most glaring fault is it doesn't factor money for the buyable skills, it should atleast account for this aspect even if it's set at an incredibly high rate like 30m/hr, in running some numbers this my head this isn't a bad figure at all taking into consideration possible present wealth(although highly variable) and money making methods. There also are smaller problems like ability of the person to maintain maximum exp rates for extended periods and there hasn't been a method of obtaining '162k fishing exp/hr' for several weeks now unless I'm missing some obscure method - realistically it should be 130k tops.
  24. He hasn't updated there in months. To set the record straight he was account recovered over a month ago and hasn't rerecovered it, here are a few pictures that have been floating around.
