Whoa... really? Are you f2p and which chaos altar and how? Chaos Altar, level 11 wilderness, just walk North from Varrock. It's slower than the boneyard, but I think boneyard is too crowded, and Chaos Altar is very boring and very slow. But I did it anyway. It's just pick up bones, bury them (what did you expect?). And yes, I'm F2P. Hope I get members very soon :pray: , it's summer, I don't want to waste my time on the F2P.

When I did it without vambraces and without staff, it always failed. (magic bonus -55) When I put on vambraces and Earth Staff (magic bonus still -55) It worked 50% of the time. I don't really understand. Now I just High Alch when I need magic XP.

Why doesn't Jagex do this: They go online 'incognito', with a normal account without 'mod' in it and without a crown. And they buy the Party Hats for high prices (lets say, about 25% more) Then they drop it where nobody is. The owners can't complain, they've got a lot of money for it, and the party hats are gone.
