As much support as this topic is getting, I may just decide to close it. For the completion going "YEA!!1111oneplusshift111", just look at yourself. When I started this newspaper, I never started it to be competitive with upcoming newspapers, nor previous ones. I never stated that I was, nor I ever intended too. The Gielinor Tribune I have no problem with, at all, whatsoever. Both the OnyxTimes and the Gielinor Tribune have their great points and their weak points, and I see no reason why two great newspapers should fight. Readers have time to read both newspapers, theres no reason why one newspaper should fight over who gets the most readers, or who has the better articles. The point of (well, at least this newspaper) is to give Tip.Iters a right to freedom of speech allowing anyone to post an article (as long as it abides by Runescape and Tip.It rules. Also, when I started, I never knew there was another newspaper in existence. You may feel free to voice your opinion on this topic.

How did I KNOW this was going to happen. Not to sound irritated, but I-no, anyone can't start one thread in General P2P without other people create 50,000 carbon-copies. P.S. At least Jagex took part in stealing my (and to prevent conflict, all of the newspapers here before mine) idea :P.

The point (as probably most other both virtual and real newspapers) is to give readers an opportunity to express their opinions and feelings on current topics going on in daily life. I get at least 4 PMs per day requesting if they can write an article. Simply, if you don't want to be bothered with the newspapers, don't click on the topic. Otherwise, anyone is welcome to come and read and write an article :).

The second Issue is out, I hope everyone looks forward to reading it! Also, along with the second issue, I've added a small archives section, where you can view past issues.

Again, I do apoligize, however, since this is the first issue, the articles supplied are just an introduction. I'm writing the first (real) article now, so be patient :).

That'd be cool, just PM me your article once you're ready and I'll add it (although the reserved space is gone to Brandon's 'Quick Money-Making Tips', I can make another).

I'm sorry, I don't spend my time in General, I did not know that there was another RS newspaper. I did not in any way insult your newspaper, and I am sorry if I implied it.

I'm actually fishing while I'm doing this :P. And no, not really, I just want to give the community a nice newspaper updated weekly that can entertain them and inform them of whats going on in RS.

Actually, if anyone is interested in writing their own section for the newspaper, the "Section Under Construction" area is available. All you need to do is PM me your article for each week and I will spell/grammar check it and publish it. If you have an idea and want to write in that section, just PM me in-game, or PM me here.

Well, after a long while, I decided to dig up my old blog (as well as my old hobby) to get my mind off questing for a short while. Hopefully this time since I'm much more experienced and stronger, I'll be able to get some good rewards!
