Won't work. Google OCR I did, I know about that, however, CAPTCHA uses whats called 'static' to create various lines and marks on the image, making it so hard to crack. Jagex could set the x and y-axis static levels on the CAPTCHA to like 1000000 and lets see any autoer try to crack that 0_0.

I haven't read through the topic completely, so I'm not sure if this was submitted, but I was just randomly thinking today for an excellent idea to stop autoers from even signing up. The CAPTCHA system, which is a randomly generated image on sign-up where the user is asked to confirm the letters/numbers in the image could be added to the RS make account section. This wouldn't completely get rid of autoers, but cut off any use of the auto-make-account problem.

Otherwise known as the "Bot Motel", much like the "Rat Motel". The rats check in, but they don't check out. In this case it's bots. Maybe this can be a random event. The bot is teleported to an island much like Evil Bob's and the island is packed with various trees, ore rocks, fishing spots etc. The only way off the island is to stop doing whatever you're doing until a 1 minute (or 30 seconds) timer finishes counting down. If you're a human player, you'll understand this "no-action" action and wait for the counter and then you'll be whisked off the island and back to whatever you were doing. If you're a bot, you'll head to the nearest tree/rock/fishing spot etc and be trapped on the island indefinitely. There will also be item-stealing Imps going around, pickpocketing the bots to keep their inventory empty or at least low on items so that the bots don't walk off to bank their ill gained goods. Then, every hour all the bots on the island are permanently banned. Of course, to prevent players from inadvertently being permanently banned, 5 minutes before this set banning time, no players are teleported to the island and any players still on the island are given a chance to solve a "Mysterious Box" to get an "Escape button" to get off the island. The bots will not notice this and thus stay on the island until the appointed perm ban time. Maybe I should start my own thread instead of hijacking another thread... talk about totally off-topic. That would be a great idea, but to make it undetectable by bots, make it the same exact location you were in, am I seeing the rest of ScapeRune here or what? :shock:

I'd say both. The Good I do like the update, as it gives the NPCs a more dynamic and more realistic movement. (When I say that I mean more realistic than before) The Bad I don't DK, or haven't thought of doing the fight caves yet, however, considering about everyone else's thoughts, they're going to be somewhat ruined, or at least much harder now.

Do you think this poll was a failure for JaGeX? Not really, it just goes to show how many people don't know much about there computers. I mean, in 'How much RAM does your PC have', other than 'I Don't Know', the top one was 2GB or above :shock: Were you able to correctly answer the questions? Newgrounds is somewhat dangerous to other player's computers, because it is rated red on McAfee Siteadvisor, and some of the downloads on that site (4/23) are marked red, for containing 180Solutions spyware, Hotbar, and other various types of malware. Also, all of the sites it links to are marked red [EDIT].
