I think my rage may well be influenced by the 3.08 crappyness, but thats not to say it forms the basis of my arguement. Blizzard also said they'd NEVER implement paid name changes, and NEVER implement paid character alterations.

at english prices, a 1 sale is the same as 2 months worth of subscription.(For WoW) Even if you lost out on 50% of sales, as long as the other 50% played for 2 months, you'd get the same amount of money. WoW seems to have proven that the subscription method works, and works VERY well, why not continue?

Blizzard seem to be [bleep]ing up royally more and more often now. Diablo 3 and SC2 have gone from "OMGWTFNAO!!!" to "meh.. maybe" on my scale of wantedness.

No kidding, me and Diesel played in a guitar/bass team last night and took 1st in about half the songs we played. None of the songs had more than three or four scores submitted. Of course that was on Wii, which hasn't been out as long, but still. yeah, me and a friend did the ESL, most of the songs were sightreads and we still placed 9th on the RB1 boards.

Last night's raid was awesome, even though we only got 3 bosses down in naxx, and I got no gear, it was the most fun I've had in ages. I was playing with a guild who just randomly invited me to join because they were one healer short, and tbh, I think I might join their guild permanently. Really good banter on vent, no moaning about wipes, no idiotic failing. We wiped on thaddius with 1k hp left. Yeah. One thousand hit points. that 1 attack. 1 tick of a DoT. The last 2% was MENTAL. there were about 9 people up, all just smashing their faces off the keyboard to do whatever they could, no healing, no tanking, everybody SCREAMING down vent, just watching the HP bar. I swear thats the loudest AWWWWWWWWW!!!! I've ever heard when we didnt do it. I think its a testament to how big of a nerd I am that I got a massive adrenaline rush from that bossfight.

wiping on anub rhekan 10 man. Pugging with scrubs is a BAAAD idea.

jGCXE4Fh14k thats me and my friends making awesome use of a free period, seeing how many chairs we could jump. The squealing sound is the idiot hiding in between the chairs, when he popped his head up about 3 inches from my foot. Theres a video of a successful attempt as well, but thats nowhere near as funny.

How did you get past the first packs of trash with just 3k dps? I went with a T7.5 prot warrior and we wiped twice on the trash because dps was 200 dps below te total amount needed (we didnt know there was a dps race aspect to it:>) our tank was putting out more dps than the dps, and I had about 500 dps going on that bit as well since I didnt need to heal the tank that much.

I just tried to max out my dps with a deep holy raidhealing build, in semi naxx / hc gear and managed to sustain 1.5k dps. If I can do it, goddamit a rogue can too.

cod series is activision's cashcow. they'll shove one out annually as long as it remains possible guitar hero is activision's cash cow tbh.

In the original set of rules I made, if I remember correctly, it was 2 days without without a GUESS. Not 2 days without somebody getting it.

jesus christ on a bike. I wish I could get a heroic group together that actually had 5 GOOD players in it for once. I was doing a couple yesterday with a tank from my guild, so I know we both had good gear, and we ended up failing at the last boss of HC AN, why? because the dps werent even putting out 3k dps between all 3 of them. so I said "put out more than 1k dps each PLEASE" "and if you cant, then gtfo heroics" and all 3 of them left, followed by whispering me that I was a [developmentally delayed]. dps suck balls.

oh my god! of all the songs that I love to make it onto rock band! Cannot wait for RB2 to FINALLY get released so I can play that.
