its hardly just jumping up and down. Strafe jumping requires precise timing and angle calculation for every jump. Its bloody hard. Its not just regular bunnyhopping. These frags were hardly just "against idiots" I'm pretty sure all of these were in scrims against people on pro level. Knowing the hitboxes are part of the game, and besides, with rockets, hitboxes dont matter all that much, and the railgun usage in the video is more about the speed at which its done and not the accuracy. So if 30 games are easy and just one is difficult, then how do you know that the single game doesn't have issues wrong with it compared to the normal 30 games, that are easy/medium/difficult? Shooters are never hard to the hang of after a month or so of playing. After that your general skill in the FPS genre is what keeps yourself going. As in once you get the UI, and feel of the game, it's just another way to increase your 'skill' at FPS's. And if this doesn't happen, then the game in question isn't a shooter or a proper one. It's the same for acquired tastes with food, if you want an analogy. Don't fool yourselves and others into thinking there's anymore to it than that. no no. Theres other shooters, then theres quake 3. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING in the fps genre has as much to master as this game. Standard fps skill can get you only so far, but to be good at this game there are advanced techniques that can take months to get proficient with. you didnt seriously expect youtube to get this big, and for big companies not to want to control it's content? Fair enough, when it was small, when nobody had heard of it, and when it had no big name brands backing it, you could put whatever the hell you wanted on. Now however, There isnt much you can put on. And believe you me, when people realize they cant go to youtube to watch good videos anymore and its just full of redarded 12 year olds hurting themselves for e-fame, traffic will plummet, and it'll be GG youtube. They're only doing what is in their best interest. Although I must agree their automatic audio filtering software seems a teensy bit stringent. It's even been deleting stuff from band's official channels.

There are a ton of differences between fighting games, even just between 2D games. Man Ray will just not give up though. Anyways my favorite fighting game is either Marvel vs Capcom 2 or Street Fighter IV. It's hard to decide, I haven't played SF4 enough yet really. MvC2 was a [bleep] brilliant game though. However I do dare someone to find people who Take their [cabbage] as seriously as Street Fighter. Top players count the number of frames each attack takes they do that in super smash bros a lot as well. also invincibility frames.

at the peak of the game, ssb and sf are incredibly similar and take ridiculous amounts of practice and skill to be competetively good at. http://forums.shoryuken.com http://www.smashboards.com just a cursory read through a few topics in both boards should prove how similar the two games are.
