The Runar's DIY blog — OSRS ultimate ironman
Have fun :) I just managed to complete a hard clue on my ultimate. I had to drop three clues already because I couldn't complete them :( There was one wilderness clue but the reward was pretty good, almost 100k in alchables. Those are bandos platelegs but I had to alch them too because I have no bank to put them in :/ My main goal right now is to get stats for Sara GWD. Currently I have 61/70 agility and 45/52 herblore, and I'll probably get 90+ range too. I'm going to use a completely insane method which I don't think anyone has used before :P

Right. Ultimates can't use the bank and they lose everything when they die (though it's possible to pick up the items from the ground if you can get back in time). Holy headlights that's insane Q.Q So how do you skill? Just drop absolutely everything? Depends on the skill. I'm going to train smithing by making bolts and darts so I can use them for ranged later. I'll start alching bows once I can make yew bows, they're pretty good money. Crafting can be trained with battlestaves which are great cash too. Cooking is probably the only one where I'll have to drop the items.

I play on Old Runar every once in a while, but right now I'm enjoying my ult much more. After 4 years of DIY it's nice to try something new. The main downside of no bank is that I can't really collect clue loots. At least I'll be able to store my future ranger boots in my house :P One cool thing about playing an official ironman is the highscores list. I'm currently rank 268 on the ultimate list and almost in top 5k for all ironmen. I'll try to get in top 100 ults at least. Here are my current ult ranks:

After lots of grinding I finally got my full graceful set. I have almost 60 agility now and probably won't be training it again any time soon. I'll have to get 70 eventually for Sara godwars though :P Wish I could bank all the lobsters instead of selling them in the general store :( Being an ultimate ironman is suffering /人◕ ‿‿ ◕人\

They should be a pretty common reward. I've burned four bones so far but no grapple yet Finally got a portal chamber and some portals in my house. I decided to build Ardy and Falador first so I don't have to carry water runes anymore. Now I just need a lava staff and I won't need earths either :) Second 60+ non-combat. Over halfway done with graceful robes too, but agility is really boring so I take breaks constantly.- The Runar's DIY blog — OSRS ultimate ironman

You haven't seen my pray flick skills ;) TBH the biggest problem is my parents' crappy internet. I'm not sure if it's ISP-related or a hardware problem, but it disconnects quite often. It's pretty good when it works, but not nearly as fast as the internet in my apartment. Can't wait to get back there. I was thinking of tethering with my smartphone, but for some reason the mobile network doesn't work inside the house very well: I thought that my phone's internet is Australian tier, but apparently it's Moon tier. Imagine doing Jad on this :o- The Runar's DIY blog — OSRS ultimate ironman
I can finally make prayer potions with greenman's ale! Currently I'm collecting kebbit bolts. If there are no problems (like dcing) I'll attempt fire cape on Monday. I'm going to livestream that too. Too bad I forgot my mic in my apartment when I left -.- Yesterday I tried to kill crazy archaeologist for a rune crossbow, but I dced and died. Luckily items stay on ground for 30 mins (or is it an hour now?) so I managed to get all my stuff back. I don't think I'm going back there any time soon :(- The Runar's DIY blog — OSRS ultimate ironman
Some more quests. My main goal right now is 38 herblore. Unless RS starts lagging again, I'll probably attempt fire cape next week. 1-22 runecrafting :o Also got my first 60+ skill (magic) from the reward. Here's a little tip for other ironmen: if you need a mud rune, it takes less than 5 minutes to get one from Mage Training Arena. Got a rune axe too, took me maybe 25 kills so not too bad. - The Runar's DIY blog — OSRS ultimate ironman
