  1. Heres another 'lil image I've done. I'm submitting it to the player gallery, after seeing MXM get in. :) Fingers crossed. That's a preview of the image, which I've linked because it's 1280x1024. Get the wallpaper here: http://img204.imageshack.us/img204/9536 ... eneyw3.jpg Dont even bother trying to rip this, because you'll be caught. Save yourself and myself the trouble and make your own images.

Looks good, though you may want to blend in the fire ring (or whatever it is) to the background more, it's very obvious where the stock image ends and the background begins.
  5. Thanks everyone. :) The background is a photo, the legomen and shadows are from C4D. I can blend the two seamlessly using 'compositing'. I'm trying to format and compress the animation to get it under 5mb at the moment, so expect low quality. :)
  6. Click here to view the animation 0.5mb, .mov format, opens in new window. ^ - Animated version, very low quality to keep the size down. v - Larger resolution stills from the animation Comments welcome.

I've done an animation of him walking through a hallway, not doing the moonwalk though. :P I might try to animate him dancing though.

Cheers Xman. :) I've done a small animation. I had to compress the heck out of it to get it under 100kb.

Lx0 doesn't rip... if you go to the site named in the corner of those pictures you will see they are his work as well as others. Maybe he has an account there too? Yep, I've got an account there too. The pictures on RSC are posted by me, which should be obvious since the name I used to post them is 'Lx0'. :XD: Thanks for the comments everyone. I'm going to crank up the reflections and specularity alittle to make it more convincing.

Something else for ya'll. Modeled and rendered in Cinema4D. Textures in PS. Enjoy. :) Click the link in my sig to find a desktop sized version if you're interested.
  15. Cheers. A.K.A, bump.
  16. That's because in a racing video game, there are limits on the amount of tris one can use, and the filters too, for that matter. My only crit is that, well, it's a car :\ My experience in 3d modelling work leads me away from building things already determined... The shape of this was already perfect before it was built, so although the building process is well done, and the wrapping is okay, I'll reserve judgement, as the actual design of it isn't strictly your own. That'd be because this is a modeling/rendering excersize, not a design one. I have done two car designs in the past, The Hawk and The Allure.
  17. No idea how to bump here, I guess I just spam like this.
  18. Nope. I dont let anybody use my images sorry, if I let one person do it I'd have to let everybody do it.

It's nice, but dont ruin it with text. If you have to, have a very small amount of text in a corner and keep it out of the way. My suggestion for the sig is to crop it to half that height, and centered. Experiment with some other proportions.

Cheers for the comments everyone. I'll give it a go in dragon colours, but in my experience red armor looks horrible when you're trying to make it look realistic. We'll see. :)

Wow, I havnt noticed that reflection before. Theres no houses to reflect so it isnt a house, it just looks like it. Haha. I'm using Cinema4D, and photoshop for textures.
