Graduation from boot camp

Recommended Posts

Well, its been 9 weeks, and on friday March 9th I have achieved my number one goal to graduate from Navy Boot Camp. Mission accomplished. But anyways, just here to let you all know that I am back to the Runescape Community, well not as often but I will be on to check things out on the forum. Going through "A" School will be a bit harder, but I shall graduate :D If anyone is interested, my job field that I am going to start studying next week will be Dental Core, pretty much a Dentist, but the overall field of my rating is Hospital Corpsman, at Great Lakes, IL. Thank you for your time reading this. Comments and such are more then Welcome!

Congratulations shipmate and welcome to the Navy. June 2007 will make 21 years active duty so far for me. You have picked a great rate and it is one of professionalism and distinction. The Navy is easy to be successful in, we tell you what to do, when to do it and how to do it. We also tell you what NOT to do, stay out of trouble, study hard and don't get anyone pregnant. Your potential is limitless within the Navy, you can get your degree, apply for seaman to admiral commisioning program, get medical certifications etc....as well as see the world :)

I am currently in a particularly hot, sandy and unpopular part of the world defending our country and our allies against Global Terrorism. I have been to every country in the world, and there is some exciting things to do and see. Study hard and you will advance fast, realize that 95% of your peers aren't even competitive because they spend most of their time worrying about the next party, or scoring with the new hottie. Take an hour a day to study for the next stripe, and enjoy the benefits as you make rank. Again, welcome aboard shipmate and I hope you have a successful and exciting career. stay safe.

...I dunno, I'd probably never be in the Military simply because I have too much aversion to order and establishment and authority. I'm not a total anarchist, but order and authority on a military level is an unappealing concept to me.

That's the only thing about the military I'm averse to. Oh, and the getting body parts blown off :P
