IRC-Some issues, connection failure

Well, i've tried to connect to this IRC channel a few times, and i keep getting this same message

I'm not gonna download mIRC, so please don't say just do that. Any way i can fix this?

What irc client are you using?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Javabased clients suck.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I reccomend mIRC its never failed me in 7+ years

just using the one straight out of tip it, i'm gonna try to take a look at the firewall records, because i'm almost sure its that overprotective thing thats blocking it, but it needs a password -.-

If I remember right, that is the error PJIRC throws when the port to the IRC server is blocked.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If if isn't already open, you need to allow outgoing connections on port 6667 to connect to the IRC server.

That's due to the applet's digital signature having expired and/or you choosing not to trust the applet.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Clear your Temporary Internet Files and go back to the chat page, the applet should download again and you should be able to choose to trust it.

if you clicked no at some point, does it pop up again?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I clicked no once before i think, but i've gotten the request to run it again every other time.. :?
