My RS adventure started somewhere in 2001 (still trying to recover the actual date) at the age of 13 after seeing the game at a friends house. The name of the account I created was Lord Bunkie, and I still use it. I decided not to go for a PvP character, because I thought it was scary to be able to be killed everywhere. I didn't leave Lumbridge untill I was like level 15 (I could beat a farmer!) and ventured off to the "big city" (Varrock).

Some time after the PvP system was removed, banks where introduced and a few big new areas were released (wilderness). That's when I really started. I became really fond of mining (THE way for making money in that time) and after quite some time I could mine coal! That's when I was getting rich, because coal was generally sold for 100gp! Unbelievable that people would pay such large amounts of cash for a single ore.

Members was also introduced after some time, and I remember Jagex saying that members would get all their updates fist, and after some time some of them would be available for F2P (well we've seen what became of that). I decided that I would NEVER pay for a game like this (oh well, I was young). Shortly after RS2 was released, I quited for a long time. I couldn't get used to the graphics and the nasty sound. I still don't use sound these days. Luckily I transfered all my items to RS2 before I quit, else I'd be stuck there now, lol.

Years later, I decided to try the game again and saw that the game was updated enormously, and was frequently updated. I played for a while and (not having dial-up anymore) increased my skills a lot. After some time I got bored again, and quit.

Later, I started again, and became P2P. This is when the true skilling came along. But again, I became bored with the game, and quit. Well, I keep coming back, so just before 2006 ended, I started again and am playing still and skilling a lot.

I will probably be quiting and coming back continuously.

Looking back at my RS time I'd wish that I picked a better name. I really hate my current RS name and would change it asap if that was possible. I'm happy to say that in all the time that I play RS I have never begged for stuff and never scammed or deceived someone.

Though I have used an auto-miner in the early days of RS1... Letting him click for me and move one spot away when I got the message "you have been standing here for 5 minutes, please move to a newer area". But oh well, I was young, forgive me :P

I'd never do that now as I don't want any help in trying to get my skills as high as possible, rest assured.

Oh, somewhere in RS1 I made a pker too, but I forgot the name after I left it untouched for a few years. But that doesn't matter, skilling is now the main part of the game for me, and I'm lousy at pking anyways.

I think, for the future, that I will continue to play RS. Seeing that this game improvement really fast and continues to expand, I think I'll be playing this game with a lot of fun in the coming years.

My main got hacked too many times to count, though I haven't been hacked the last few months. I had one blackmark but it wasn't me, so when I appealed I had it crossed off.

Hacked once, and I'm clean. My mains from a family of 12. All the others are pures :XD:

I started my current main in late 2004. He has seen 1 hacker and many failed scam attempts. He is free of black marks, so far. He comes from a family of too many to remember which has now shrunk to 6 or 7. The rest have either died off (I forgot most passwords/usernames) or been kidnapped (one was hacked, they changed the password... Saw him walking around a couple days later.)
