crystal bow trick?

I remember a while ago people were talking about getting crystal bows at cheaper prices. Im about to attempt fight caves so i just wanted some heads up on how to get my second c-bow.

Buy the crystal seeds and take them to be recharged. The recharging price comes down each time you have it done.

I think you're referring to buy the seeds from players rather than from the store or person or whoever you do in Elfy-land.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The seeds there are pricey, oh-so pricey. But you can pick them up from players for a penny to the dollar when comparing the two.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Course you'll still have to pay the recharging costs.

but there is a trick - you can pay to recharge a crystal shield, which is cheaper (750, 600, 450, 300, 150), wihch will lower the bow at the same time, for less

It's very hard and painfull to degrade the crystal shield, not recomended.

to drain the shield you can go into lumby cave via the cave goblins route. there you can drain the shield pretty fast. if you can afford it take plenty of food to make it faster.

That's not the crystal bow trick...

 

 

 

The crystal bow trick is to take two bows,

 

 

 

Use one of them until 9/10, then use the other bow for about 200 charges.

 

 

 

Then use the 9/10 bow! After the spare charges have gone (around 50) the 9/10 bow will go to 8/10, but the full bow remains full.

 

 

 

Keep doing this until the "waste" bow is dead (=converts to seed).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The reason to this is, that the attack bonus decreases everytime a charge is used. You can use a full bow with 100 range attack bonus for a long time.

 

 

 

(Yes, the charges carry on with the player, not the bow)
