Things to Remember:

  •

[*:1pn1ibup]NEVER let your prayer run out when fighting Dharoks, NEVER EVER EVER!

[*:1pn1ibup]When you search a sarcophagus you might get a message telling you that you've found a Tomb. DO NOT enter the tomb, at least not yet ;)

Ok, you should be at the barrows by now full prepared. Check your stats, make sure you have full Prayer and HP. Set your spell, turn Run ON.

barrows_map.png

Run atop the Dharoks Mound, turn on Protect from Melee. And dig with your spade. Immediately search the sarcophagus. Dharoks should no appear and start attacking you. Let your character blast him with your Slayer Dart and he should be dead in no time. IMPORTANT: ALWAYS HAVE PROTECT FROM MELEE WHEN DHAROKS IS ATTACKING YOU, HE CAN DEAL UP TO 58 DAMAGE WHEN HE'S NEAR-DEATH!!

Now that he's dead, climb up the stairs. Run over to Verac's Mound. Check your prayer, and put Protect from Melee on. Dig and search the sarcophagus. IMPORTANT: VERAC CAN HIT THROUGH PRAYER QUITE OFTEN, BUT DO NOT TURN PROTECT FROM MELEE OFF! HE CAN DO 25+ DAMAGE IF YOU DON'T HAVE PROTECT FROM MELEE ON!!

Good good..now, on to ManBearPig! I mean, Karil! Run over atop Karil's Mound, check your prayer AND HP. Make sure your HP is full, or very close to full. Set your Prayer to Protect from Range and Dig. Search the sarcophagus. Kill Karil, he's not tough and even though he wears Ranged Armour he has amazingly low Magic Defence (just like all other Barrows Armour, except for Ahrims). Now, back up the stairs...again.

Run north to Ahrims Mound. BUT, slap on your Range Armour and ShortBow. You should have brought arrows too. Check your prayer and set it to Protect from Mage. And, of course..Teleport away!!!! Lol, not really. Don't teleport away, dig. Search the sarcophagus and pop those Arrows straight into Ahrim. He'll go down fairly quick, but he'll lower your strength level (which doesn't matter since you Mage the Barrows lol).

Once he's dead, head for Guthans. Take off your Range gear and put back your regular armour and Slayer Staff on. Set your spell. The second-weakest Barrow Brother. IMPORTANT: Watch your HP, he may be weak but he is still a Barrows Brother. He can (rarely) hit high damage, often. :o You shouldn't really be praying when fighting him, since he's such a push-over. But you can if you want.

Now...for the sixth brother. By now, you should have found a Tunnel. If you haven't then read this next paragraph.

[if you haven't found a Tunnel while searching sarcophagus' at the Barrows by now, then read the following paragraph]

On to Torags, the absolute weakest, poorly dressed Barrows Brother ever! He's superbly weak. But don't let up, he will (EXTREMELY rarely) hit you for high damage.

Ok, it's time to pursure the sixth brother into the Tunnels. Get ready this can be tricky for first-timers..

You could also merchant? if you know how or dont mind it.

You could try monster drops like the pits for obby capes or shields.

You could even try skilling, like fletching or woodcutting for cash

Just depends on what you like.
