Are there safespots in the tombs (not the tunnels) where you can SAFELY range/mage the brothers?

Sadly, no they're no safe spots where you can safely mage or range the brothers in the crypts.

i believe reading about "side stepping" in the guide to where you can safely mage or range them. I might be wrong though

Sidestepping - Both the crypts and the tunnels have places where you can stand during combat that allow you to move over one square and avoid taking hits. This saves you many hitpoints as you can eat and regroup without getting hammered.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

- Sidestepping in the tunnels is very easy, as all you have to do is go back through the door that spawned your brother, so he can't touch you. Be careful that the door doesn't spawn a twin brother on the other side. A twin brother is a spawn of the same brother from the same door. This is rare, and if it happens, you may run away from the room and they will go away, and you will meet again in more favourable circumstances. Or you may kill them both. It is not known if killing two twins will affect your reward.

 

 

 

- Sidestepping in the crypts is easy if you're in the right spot. Some of the corners of the coffins can be used to sidestep combat. Not all corners work, but the sidestep is effective for all six brothers. The ranger and mage need to be attacked across the coffin a little differently to utilise a sidestep. Here is what they look like.
