I need to go from 40-70 range and I want to do it as fast as possible. I can get the best pc worlds and about 1000 points per week.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Would it be faster to use that time to train on monsters and npc's or train using pc?

On topic: I didn't find Pest Control worth it untill about 55 Range, as you rarely get the Zeal needed for a point.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

40-55 takes only about three days in the Security Stronghold using a Bow and just Iron arrows.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After 55, then i would suggest going to Pest Control.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

However, if you plan to melee at Pest Control and use the points on range, i guess it really doesn't matter... It would just probably take alot longer.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I'd suggest using Monsters till 55-60, then Pest Control for the last 10-15 levels.

People have sayed don't use PC for range till about 70 or so.

When you hit 60, i would advise you to train on the Fire Giants under Baxtorian Falls. Theyr'e prone to range, and they have some ok drops (rune meds, dragon meds, rune arrows, scimi, chains etc), and have a nice drop rate also.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

There are quite a few safe spots also.

Cannon is too much hassle for me, plus I'd rather not use the money for it. With the pc worlds I can get, I can probably go from 60-70 by maybe friday.

Use ranged for pc when you're ranged lvl is equal or higher to ur other combat stats. Why? Simple, you won't be wasting your points to gain less exp than you would if u used the points on something else :lol:

I used to think of pc that way, but say if I got 80 str and 70 attack adn I wanted to train attack. I'd get more xp on str, but eventually when I get 99 str I'll still have to evetually raise attack at lvl 70.

Just use conventional ways to train the att to 70. Bandits, by example, very relaxing lol.

Bandits are 50k xp an hour, Pc is like 60k an hour at lvl 70 att and 70 str. I'm 72 att 80 str so I probly get like 70k an hour. Plus I'm pure.

wanted to know if it was better than ranging normally from 40 range to 70......also I want to know if I shuld use steel arrows from 40-60 or knives
