I tried slayer, and I tried the Canifis master. He gave me an assignment, and then an enchanted gem so that I could report my progress to him.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But the gem only lets me communicate with Vannaka, which I haven't talked with.. (except tutorial island lol)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Why?

The "recommended" slayer master is the one you contact with the gem. They all know what you are supposed to slaye, so no worries.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The fact that you report to a higher slayer master then then one you visited for your assignment indicates that your combat level is "too high" for your current master. When you finish the task at hand, try visiting Vannaka (Edgeville dungeon) for possibly a harder task.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you are fine with Mazchna (Canifis), that's ok. It's up to you what master you choose, but you may be ready for some potential more diffucult monsters to slay.
