April 3, 200719 yr I dont really like construction as i think it is a waste of money...BUT...I have decided to get it to lvl 50..i am currently lvl 7...what is the most cost effective way of getitng it to 50 and roughly how much will it cost? ty It isn't in the castle, It isn't in the mist, It's a calling of the waters, As they break to show, The new Black Death, With reactors aglow, Do you think your security, Can keep you in purity, You will not shake us off above or belowScottish frictionScottish fiction
April 3, 200719 yr long/curved bones are your friend. They give both xp AND money! They are kinda rare though... As for actually DOING something: Clay and limestone can be mined and these are free to get! This might be a tad slow, though. The best xp vs cost would be the oak planks if you have the level for them. I did 99% of my construction xp using tears of Guthix, genie lamps and quest rewards! I've had my share of long/curved boned as well from slayer assignments (fire giants). Other data was removed when acoount got hacked...

April 3, 200719 yr how much xp do curved bones actually give? found it on an other treat: they give 1,5k xp if you sell them in the cave goblin city and you also get 1k cash
April 3, 200719 yr If you decide to go with clay, you might wait a bit. Behind the Scenes says we will be able to mine wet clay sometime this month. Depending on what is involved in doing that, clay fireplaces might be easier. Currently working on 99 smithing:
April 3, 200719 yr I know it cost me around 600k to get from about 52 to 60. So from 1 to 52 would be around there as well. So figure about 400k if you are doing oak planks.
