click File-Save for Web-the the box will come up. there should be a box on the right hand side that says "transparent" check this box. you might have to find it by changing the file format (JPEG, PNG, etc...)

erm use magic eraser, erase all the extra light blue stuff, and save it as a .gif file

you made it transparant alright...

 

 

 

but it looks bad at the edges now.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i always save my sigs when i want a transparant background as a .gif file

 

 

 

it has the transparant already on, so you dont have to click on it.

 

 

 

and to do something bout the edges, in the options menu when you save ur file it says: 'Matte:' you need to set that mode to white. (or black but white looks best)
