deathmmaster
Well someone may have suggested this before, I am suggesting it now. Wouldn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t it be great if we could Auction off our items instead of trading them. It would be easier to do for everyone. This way if you are selling you can actually see the highest bid while you are doing other things. I will now explain everything̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâæÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâæÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâæÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâæ First, if you are trying to auction your item, for example, a glory amulet, just right click on the object and click on Auction (item) Then a screen would come up and you type in the starting bid, for example 30000, and after you click accept. After the screen disappears you will see a bar across the top of Your screen telling you what the highest bid is. For other people to bid on your item they have to right click you and click Auction (name) (level- ) The screen comes up and they type in their bid and click accept. Remember anybody can bid as many times as they want. The auction is over when you click accept on the little bar across the screen. When they click accept they have to click accept again on another screen and they have the money from the highest bidder and the highest bidder has the object. This is just the normal Bid screen with Nothing on it. Zaaps1
This could work out, but how would someone else know if their bid has been topped? In-game pop-up? deathmmaster
well the person could have the little bar at the top of their screen too but without the accept and cancel button [spoiler=Old info]Quest Point Cape Acheived:14 October 07 4:30pm GMT+10 .15108th to 99 Firemaking: 2 October 08 8:15pm GMT+10Barrows Drops: Verac Flail, Verac Plateskirt x3, Guthan helm, Ahrim Robetop, Karil top, Torag plate, Dharok plate, Dharok axe. 1900+ total lvlDragon Drops: 6: Dragon Legs (iron dragon), Dragon Spear(shadow warrior), Dragon Pickaxe(4) DK Drops: Warrior Ring(2)Bandos Drops: Tassets

Gehackte
i support i like the idea but i think there has to be a litle bit worked on it because its very weird if u are walking away and someone else who is in the bank bids on your object and then when you click accept the bid then you both got it and you are lets say somewhere in the agility arena (just a place ) and he is in draynor bank so i think you should make it with the bank personel like this: 1. You can select the banker and say [auction banker] 2. then you get the screen and you can sellect an item and the minimum you want for it. 3. Other people at the bank can look at everyone who set something in the auction mode by clicking on the auction mode they can say they want to follow the object so the get the litle screen above their screen and there they see what happens with the price even then if they are far away from the bank they can say ok i want to offer this or offer that for it. 4. if the player who is the seller of the item is ok they will click accept the items will automatically change from bank account. and then its sold How does 20 minutes turn into 2.5 hours? Gehackte
i have one extra thing to say they have also cancel on top of their screen so if their offer is winning they can say no i dont want it and then the screen will disappair and if the owner of the item say's accept all the offer information and the current price will be shown and such stuff. aquariusman
How exactly do you know if someone puts something up for auction? Word of mouth? Or is there some list of things currently up for auction at the bank? Maybe also allow players to request for something up for auction, and instead of setting a minimum price, they set a maximum price and a limit to the item(s). Also, what about multiple-item bidding (Noted and stacked items considered one item)? Do you have to bid for all or can you bid for individual items? Alot of short ends IMO. Gehackte
all you said is what u want in my way of view if i had to make it AnSwErS on your questions: 1.list in the bank 2.could be with minimum maximum lets say set both but if u dont set maximum maybe you can get more than you want for it 3.you can bit at more items and you can bit with items the bid request with item wil be send to the seller of an item and he will say if he wants to have that bid with items and stuff on the number one place and will give a worth with it so someone else can bid money and if that is more than the worth what the seller thaught of the item bid is then automatically that will be the best offer 4. you can bid for induvidual items need any other answers? Sending a bid to a player? Isn't that alot like sending a trade request? I was thinking of the exact same process that is in selling an item for buying an item. You create an auction at a bank, which can be seen in the bank. You enter the auction in the same process, maybe even right-clicking the auction in the list. When the list pops up, you enter the amount of items you want to sell and the minimum price you want for all, or set how much you want per item, so that if the player wants less items than the amount you offer, you sell that amount for the price per item you specify. This will allow for players who need large amounts of items to buy them fast and at the price they want. The buyer will set limits to all of the parameters listed (amount, total price/price per item). 4. So if you can bid for individual items, can youonly bid for individual items? I really just need one answer, number three is more a comment. There's no such thing as regret. deathmmaster
You can only offer money as the item prices go up and down i made this guide while my computer was working slowly and i couldnt really play runescape and i know it is not the best idea you will ever see but overall just post and keep this thread running!
