Fastest crafting and Mage xp?

I want to get to 61 crafting (actually 63, but 61 for lunar diplomacy) and 65 mage. I currently have 50 crafting and 60 mage. I was going to buy cowhides for 100 ea. and make hard leather bodies and then high alch my way to 65 with yew longs (s). Would these paths be the fastest? If not, what would be?

EDIT: Here are the calculations I've made based on my mage and crafting xp. If there is something that you see wrong, please tell me:

MAGE |

--------

2288 High Alchs

1,601,600 for nats, yews, and flax (686,400 nats/yews, 228,800 flax)

1,757,184 gp gained from high alching

*-------------------------------*

| -155,584 gp for level 65 |

*-------------------------------*

***start out with 700,000 gp***

****make 14 bows per inventory, bank 164 times****

*****28 bs per inventory of flax, bank 82 times*****

CRAFTING |

-------------

5572 Hard Leather Bodies

557,200 gp for cowhides

16,716 gp for tanning

4 hides per thread (i think it's 4 anyways)

1393 threads (too insignificant to worry about)

*------------------------------*

| 573,916 gp for level 61 |

*------------------------------*

***start out with 103,000 gp and all thread***

****make 26 hard leathers per inventory, bank 215 times****

TOTAL TIMES BANKING: 461 times

seems reasonable to me.

If you want profit from your crafting i'd suggest crafting bowstrings all the way.

When i buy the flax i can manage 1k per hr at Seers-bank (after 180k bs i hear4d that lummy castle spinig wheel is faster) and its about 700 an hr if u pick urself at Seers(? not sure).

I recommend you buy flax, using the Lumbridge castle spinning wheel/bank.

Take this, and if you can, fletch your own bows to alc, or, if you cant, sell the bowstrings to ease the cost of buying the bows and nats.
