April 10, 200719 yr My suggestion is different. Since I'm not a member i can't post messages in The Suggestions Page of the Official RuneScape Forum. I admit that the report system of Runescape is good, but if you have noticed, if you just report from 1 IP adress or even from 2, the person might not get a bann. I have a solution. If only there is a small Topic ANYWHERE, that reports a bad behaviour WITH a screenshot that will be a decent proove which can't be argued with. The account gets a bann - End of Story. It assists the Moderators and the Players and all are happy. Since this Forum has a good "Add image" script, it makes it ideal for this kind of idea. I'm pretty sure that this will send The Scaming in history, which is my ultimade Goal i guess... P.S.: I'm sorry if my Post is doubled, or if it's already in use... Thank you for your attention. Stalik.
April 10, 200719 yr Good Job saying all of this, but this is the Achievements and Goals and Rate this, so why did you post this in here? *REQUESTING POST TO BE MOVED TO CORRECT FORUM TOPIC* No, offense i just would like you to get more of a response and acknowledgement for this post then you will get in here. =) Good job on noticing that and telling people who have not noticed that. =) Thank You For Your Time, ~Snakebite420

April 10, 200719 yr Author Only problem with that suggestion would be people posting fake images. It's very easy to make fake images now especially with Photoshop and the actually RS font handy. It would be hard to differentiate between real and fake. Plus it would be the same as the report system in the end. There would be a lot of reports and they couldn't handle them all. Written from: icecube Moss Giant Whipper First of all I want to apology for posting on the wrong place. I'm new here, so don't know the Forum so good, although that don't excuses me... As to the post of icecube and nicrune008 I though about it and yes, in general thats the main problem in that suggestion. I will make a split up First. 1. People with Split Chat 2. People without Split Chat 3. Direct Foto from In-Game Conversation Users from group number 1 and 3, on my oppinion will be hardly faked. But here comes group 2, whose fotos can be edited easily, as here comes the Direct Foto from the Chat Box too. Those people need a carefull observation, but I'm pretty sure that a qualified Moderator will see the difference in the True and the Fake image. Here I want to mention that the whole point of this suggestion is to make the whole Report Handling easier and faster, so i can't agree with icecube, when he says it will have the same luck as the main report system. I hope it doesn't. Thank you for your attention. Stalik.
April 10, 200719 yr I think the current report abuse system is good enough. The reason people don't get banned immediately is not because only one person reported them, they most likely received a black mark(s). It will be hard to completely stop scammers, as they will always find ways to circumvent whatever Jagex uses to stop them, which is also sadly true of macroers. "If you have nothing constructive to say, don't say anything at all."
April 11, 200719 yr 1. Fakes 2. The report system already takes screenshots. This means that you already ahve sent a screenshot to jagex, and then you're trying to get others to report someone, even though the report system will reject the secondary-player reports since they doesn't provde any proof any proof up-front. Then even just to show some proof, customer services must go to a third-party forum, view proof which may actually be false, and then make their judgement. All in all, it provides a great hassle for the already meager customer support, making them way less efficient. There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. Thatregret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new, better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret. It's experience.
