hey guys im in need of some help...

 

im a new player of about a month... with the help from about 25 to 30 friends

 

they have brought me to where i am pretty fast... about a month.

 

well this is just like alot of others, i too need some help making money, lvling up, and a couple of quests.

 

so some foundation: ill introduce you to potential25 (he has potential but needs to make it shine)

 

 

 

ight so potential is lvl 54, he has addy armour, and main weapon is granite maul...

 

(hoping soon to get a whip) but i dont have the 1.8mil so that is far off it seems...

 

something to work with: att is 50, str 50, def 35, range 26, pray 8, mage 20 , rune crafting 16, construction 1, hp 47, agil 1, herb 1, theive 3, craft 17, fletch 1, slay 1, hunt 1, mine 42, smith 29, fishing 51, cook 48, fire 22, wc 20, farm 1

 

as u can see i just became a member! go me!

 

so just alittle fyi

 

i do get big bones, fish for both lobs and swordies, i just found out about herbs unids, and i sell the laws i get when i can... and now im sittin with a bank accout of 10k :(

 

i do lvl 1 clue scrolls but i never have very good luck for some reason...

 

 

 

but im messing something! money!!!! i live from sale to sale and i have lots of problems getting quests done bc of that!

 

 

 

and i need talismans!!! bad! like all of them! my account was jacked and i lost everything here awhile back... im not asking for hand outs but ill be happy to buy them or find my own if you can get me locations and or beasts that hold them?!

 

 

 

also i need some help... i just start a quest.. i managed to get some money.. and did some fishing to get some help. shield of avvra... yeah i spoke with the fur dude went to the alley, no idea where the stairs are... i talk to the kathrine girl person door is locked. i need some help! please!!!!

if i were you, i would do what i do (??), i smelt cannon balls which sell for 200-250 each, you have to do a quest (dwarvern cannon, but thats easy) and you can make nearly 9k per inventory load! try it out! pm ingame if you need any help etc etc \

Get that rc up to 44 making airs or something easy. Since you are broke that will be your best bet till you have some money. If you have to mine 1k ess to start making airs. If you need a talisman south of falador there is a wizard of each element. Kill the air wizard, he seems to drop them a lot.

 

 

 

You going to want to save up to buy 1k pure ess and 1 glory atleast. If you havn't done hereos, find somebody that can recharge your glories for you. After the 1k nats, sell them, buy 1k more ess, and as many glories as you can till you have atleast 10, although 25 is the best number as that is max you can hold with house tele runes (closest tele from taverly to hereos guide)

yeah what is a nat and a glory and what do they do? and why should i get one?

 

and i sell bbones for 300 each that kills the cannon ball thing and i get to train :) :thumbsup:

a nat is a nature rune

 

 

 

a glory is a dragon stone amulet enchanted, that can hold charges that teleport you to edgeville, draynor, karmaja, and al kharid.

 

 

 

This is usefull because you can run through abyss, craft the runes, and tele back to edgeville for another run.

 

 

 

nats sell for only 300ea, but at 50 rc you can make about 210k per hour,(using pouches) which you will never make selling bbones. Rcing nats through abyss has to be one of the top 3 fastest ways of making money.

and what about training fishing and get mockfish? is that good?

 

where do i buy a glory?

 

how bad is the damage gong to be?

i need a better fishing spot... i want to be able to harpoon and catch lobs along with net... im going for lvl 62 mock fish

I fished over in Catherby up until i coudl go into the guild (68). That seemed to be the best place. The fishing guild is fantastic tho. (the fishing spots don't move as often and there are more of them)

if u want help with fishing read the guide that tip.it has to offer. its the best advice then what other players have to offer (no offense) there easy to understand.

 

And just do that. its the best advice i have to offer to you

go for smithing and mining

 

its awesome if you reach lvl 99

Mining pure essence (from a low cash base, why buy?) would be good, it's worth far more than good old F2P essence, as it is required to make all runes other than the F2P runecrafting ones - get your RC level up and use it yourself (it also makes F2P runes), or sell it.

 

 

 

With the right skill levels, things that cost gp in F2P (like nature runes) can make you gp in P2P.

 

 

 

Another classic P2P moneymaker is flax picking and/or bowstring spinning.

where can i get pure ess?

 

and im in need of some valuble tallys!

 

like nature and chaos law i know that you can trade it... but it would be nice to have

as for 99 mineing... that is along way away...

 

im working on smithing alittle... its not hard so to say its just i dont need it...

A member with better than 30 mining, gets pure essence from the rune essence mine - not sure if that still applies if in an F2P world.

 

 

 

Advantages of pure essence mining:

 

1. No competition, all miners succeed

 

2. One click to mine a full load

 

3. Valuable - generally more so than iron.

 

 

 

Disdvantages:

 

1. Low mining XP given

 

2. May be slower than the best you can do with Iron (rocks to yourself, fast respawn on empty mine in busy world).

Check tip.it - the Bestiary can be searched for possible drops, and there are often some quite low level monsters that CAN drop good ones, though moving up the scale a bit probaly means more of the better drops, as the lowest level monsters tend to be very stingy with any good drops they do have.

Anything that might be dropped by a monster, try using it as a search keyword... ALL fields are searched even though the placement makes it look as if it would only be a name search.
