I just think its rather ridiculous..and misleading about the bank pin. This is now my biggest complaint. If they had actually just left my pin on there and not allowed it to be removed..this issue would not be so extreme. I don't get how they allow someone to remove a blasted pin when the whole point of it is so if you get hacked or whatnot..they can't get into it. On a completely side note, i'm very baffled as to what the "hacker" took out and what they left. Seeds=safe (it seems), watermelons, and dang this botter really loved lobsters. At least I sold those lobsters to get more than 3k in my bank account. :/ Also, he/she/it left a lot of my potions (4). Im mostly sad about the loss of some of my random items (i'm a bit of a hoarder) and my runes...those darn runes took a long time to accumulate. Bah, this stinks. :/ guess i'll go fishing now and wallow in my misery.

Hopefully, tho I think my appeal to RS in their appeal thing was vastly underdone..I had no clue what I was doing with the appeal and just wrote a very confused appeal talking about negative money owed and how I was confused how anything even occurred. :/ I guess if they answer me in the negative I'll attempt a second appeal....in a more clear manner. I'm not sure if i should even use the account until the appeal is finished..as if they adjust lvl's there might not be a point to lvl'ing anything at the moment. (i once had a WOW Gm of mine get hacked and she became an "advertiser" spammer...when she came back she was muted but they gave back all her stuff and the guild bank that was stolen..thought that was very cool of them.) If they clear this up for me and reinstate my stuff and my lvl's I'll definitely start playing again, if they don't..well..it's not worth the hassle and I'll probably give up this game for good as this is soooo not worth all the stress...but..at least it got me to change every single password on everything I can find. Ty for the response. :) what is the point of putting a dang pin on there if someone can just delete it? *sigh* I was hoping to get my stuff back as on WoW, which I've been playing for 2+ years, they usually just give people their stuff back without an issue. On WoW they do. They rarely if ever return items in the case of hacking. The best thing you can hope for is to appeal everything, try to get your levels fixed, and start fresh.

So, i have a coworker who convinced me to log into my account after 2+ years..which I did, and found that in June of this year some jerk hijacked my inactive account and got it banned. After fixing the "payment" issue where it said I owed them money, i upgraded my account to members to see what happened to my bank/lvl's/etc. I'm not 100% sure what all was taken from my bank..which..btw, I HAD it behind a pin way ages ago and it was removed (wtf!?). I had purposely set that up years ago to horde my stuff in there so if it ever DID get hacked, it would be safe. I'm going on 14 years of playing around online and this is the first time I ever have had anything remotely like this happen. Anyways, the question I have is...i have skill lvl's all kinds of wonky from what they were when I last logged off (i took a screenshot in september of 2009 when I last played) and I also seemed to have lost all my gold and most of my items from my bank, tho strangely enough they left my seeds alone and a santa costume and the items in my backpack (which was the dragon armor). Is this..fixable? Do they ever restore your stuff to a prior date? I'm still not sure how the heck this person got into my bank account since it DID have a pin on it. >:| I checked my email and I had zero notification of any change to my account. I was never notified of the pass change or anything. I have since changed passwords...everywhere..as I concluded it must have been some long process of matching passwords for me from various sites to get into this account. I have zero experience with being banned/botted/hacked..so I'm rather at a loss. I really don't want to lose all that progress I made before due to this entire incident. Regards, lostdreamer3

Dungeoneering skill!? AHHHHHHH!!!! Must figure this out, right now trying to figure out my armor and stuff as i'm rather baffled why i have in my inventory leather items, platemail things and misc but no helmets that seem of any use. I hate trying to remember this crap. :/ I just found some fishing thing that didn't exist before (fish flinging) but got lost trying to find my way around. Ugh..and half my online friends there seem to have quit around the same time as me so not much help me whispering anyone, lol I think i'm going to have to go reread the entire freaking RS manual. *sigh* I have SOOO much stuff in my inventory, forgot i was a bloody pack rat. I'm also convinced i must've stuck some stuff into the grand exchange before i quit and it ate my gear set i was using which was from...uhhhh..some place in the east......where you run into tombs or something and defeat bosses and then jump into another tomb ...i sound like a bloody newb. Ahh yes, i do remember lootshare/coinshare..think it was newish when i left. Must go read....manuals....and find out about this new skill...tho without knowing anything about it, makes me think i just run into a dungeon and see how far i go before i die...perhaps getting lost gives a few experience points... :P Herblore...i LOVED herblore..i was rather obsessed with herbing/farming/fishing before i bailed. Got the major graphical updates, having a rough time moving around as my little minimap is tiny now. booooooo (along with the chat..that's really really tiny) Ty for your help guys. ...this is going to be a pain to relearn.

I played this game from classic until about..2007/early 08 when my old computer couldn't handle it anymore. I logged into free member on RS today to see what's going on with it and uhh..it's a tad overwhelming all the changes and i have no blasted clue what's going on. So...can someone just..perhaps....summarize what the heck has been happening in the last...3 years? lol (actually, to simplify...what major NEW things have happened) When i left...the....creature summoning had just started a few months prior.....and it wasn't on this...strange 3d ickiness i see now (maybe i just have to get used to it) Another major question is about the server list..this is majorly different and am not sure what the difference is between "loot share" and not loot share..is this...when you are..murdering some unfortunate troll and if it drops say..5 seeds...it is split amongst your group? What is "soul wars"? Where did the....realms go for that fishing boat game? (i was a tad obsessed with this way back) Lastly....did the horrid imbalance between the creation of potions and the mat gathering price fix itself yet? lol (i just remember something with losing a buttload of money making something with..ranaar seeds)

Okay, so i logged in to check prices and I didn't really see the difference from now since March on the items that I normally buy/sell. Snap seeds=down from March, Restore Pots=Down in price, P pots=down, Mantas=up a tiny tiny bit (like 100 maybe?), Swords=same price about, Monks-same price, attack pots-still cruddy price as before. I didn't check my barrows as I have no clue what I paid for it in the first place (i had luckily received a santa in the party room). So..I don't see this "change" in those prices at all

What's this about old Pk'ing coming back? Like old style combat in random places? Sorry, I quit in Marchish playing after playing since 2001 and just felt like checking up on the game today. Hrm..potions are up? I still have a crudload stock of them and other goods in my bank (which i am happy to see they finally reorganized since I last logged in). Maybe I should sell them now. Not a PKer myself, but this could be interesting for us skillers out there..but then again, I don't fancy spending a gazillion gold on items needed for it either. I thought the second article was very well written and made feel sympathetic towards these people who gave stuff out for free....but I constantly think... I am so sick of the whining and the posts about this. It's not going away and frankly, I like the updates. I like that people can't give things of to their friends for free. What, people have to actually, god forbid, earn their money? Holy moly..a revolutionary idea.

27 here and combat lvl 90. Been playing since I was 20, on and off. But i have a few online rs friends that are in their 30's or so. It would be cool if there was some online spot where all the older players could go to meet. It's much different having a conversation with an older player than one who is in their teens. (no offense intended)

Fishing probably is not your way of gaining 1 mil an hour. I'm level 82 fish and it still takes me way over an hour to catch 1500 monks. Monks only go for about 300 uncooked (a little less I think) so that won't really work. Sharks are way too slow and lobsters may be quick, but you won't get hte money fast that way.

I'm not entirely sure...I would go with a no it won't work as a slayer monster...but the best bet to check is to go kill one jogre and see if it deducts one of them from your assignment. If it works...then yes, you can kill them instead. Sorry I couldn't be much help. I just killed the regular ogres when they assigned them and didn't ever think of jogres being an option. :)
