IGotGrapes
I plan on doing both of these pretty soon and that includes the pre-req quests, I'm hoping to get about 40 attack off of them so I can lvl str/attack easier w/ a rune scimmy. Anyway here's my stats, I'll have to do them w/ range, tell me if I can. 22atk 1def 22str 45hit 1pray 1mage 65range I'll use a magic short and addy arrows, maybe put some poison on them to be sure it'll work. LeonardMart
WHY a pure? pures are horrible! but oh well... lost city will be possible if you safespot the spirit behind the mushrooms and run quickly away from the grater demons monkey madness will be impossible with 1 prayer and so low hits, as there are some monkey archers that attack with poisoned arrows all at once and as you cant protect from range... and the demon would only be killable if you use that cowardly method of running away to let the gnomes do your dirty work and deal the final blow to avoid reviving him. even then would be dangerous as you cant pray and he hits 30+ with mage and melee Click my main sig to see my fakes :D Proud to be Mexican, yay! aoe325
For lost city, since your only good stat is range you will have to bring materials to make a bow and arrows once there. (Alot of them to kill the tree spirit, you will safespot him) For monkey madness, forget about it. And I agree with mitsubishi64 Pures are horrible.. Quest cape obtained at combat level 83, march 07. IGotGrapes
I'll only be a pure for about a week once I'm level 55. Then I'll get attack to 70 for a whip and defense to 70 for a barrows armor that I want. Anyway, what if I got 65 magic first and used either god magic or earth blast. Lythiaren
You're better off ranging the tree spirit, and if I'm not mistaken the jungle demon has very high magic def. God spells maaaaybe, but not earth blast.

Doesnt unless you're willing to pay for heaps of tuna potatoes, you cant do it without prayer. Quest cape obtained at combat level 83, march 07. Vulxai
Get your prayer up for monkey madness and you might have a chance. ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~
marnuke
put it simple, you would get tore apart on monkey madness. i had 50 something def and full rune on when i did it, and i had to tele off the island 3-4 times cause i had to have food. i was using swordies though. But the monkeys deal a lot of dmg to you, esp the one when you are getting out of the jail and he throws you back in, and then theres a spider ran out of the exit who is always poising you every time you get it out. It is possible to get pass that guard though on first try...but wasn't for me...it took 10-15 attempts. And then in the tunnels i went in with invent full, first time had to tele out and second time i barely made it. Simply put, i don't think the quest would be possible at 1 def unless you had a high prayer lvl, ton of prayer pots, and high food you might get lucky, but i doubt it. i was below Barrows drops: ahrims staff (2), karils coif, karils xbow, torags plate body, veracs helm.
