Karmastocracy
As some/most of you already know, the new Halo 2 Maps came out this morning. They are of course "Tombstone" and "Desolation." Following this introduction; here is the Bungie News. ------------------------------------------- New Halo 2 Maps are Here! Posted by Frankie at 4/17/2007 7:50 AM PDT The new Halo 2 maps should be available by the time you read this. Both are remakes of Halo classics, Hang ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹ÃâEm High and Derelict, now renamed Tombstone and Desolation, respectively. The new maps are only available via Xbox Live, and specifically, through the Halo 2 interface (from the Downloads item on the main menu), which while a blessing for original Xbox owners, presents a couple of minor challenges for 360 users. But nothing too scary. Remember also that these downloads are tied to the Box, not the Gamertag, which means you should think carefully about which box you̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢re downloading to if you have a 360 and an old school Xbox. Again, we understand that̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s going to be a pain for some tournament and LAN players, but we̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢re stuck with bridging the divide between olde Xbox Live and the new. This was as simple as we could make it while still making it available to original Xbox users. Desolation's symmetry provides great balanced gameplay. In the US, the maps are priced at $4 for both (this price will vary by international region) ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ but on 360, they can̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t be purchased using Xbox Live Marketplace ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬Åpoints.̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâà Guide to Everything Fletching XBL: Karmastocracy[stumbleupon]* Sits on a mossy rock with a notebook in hand, observing the behavior of the specimens dubbed "Fanboys"~"Even when the odds are against you, even when the chance of victory is bleak and your situation looks hopeless, take a look at the horizon, and think back to what you have learned. rocketman089
I didn't even know they were releasing new maps. They looks really cool, but I doubt buy them. I haven't really played halo 2 in like 6 months. EDIT: A remake of Hang Em High . Well well, maybe it is worth it Gamertag: King Arizona
underu2000
Hang Em' High was one of the awesomest maps of Halo1. Its great (altho unoriginal) that theyre releasing a new version of it for H2. Dunno if id buy it tho. I mean, Halo 3 is rite around the corner. Anyone know how many months it takes tills the maps becomes free? Life is a joke. Yeah, I don't get it either.
