WutangFlu
Good job as usual, my favorite was Shadow of Adrenalin What kind of camera? its really old, probably 10-12+ years.. we found it in out attic. i dont have it at my house now but the brand of the camera starts with an "M" and sounds foreign. and i have various lenses, 135mm, 55mm, and a 28mm. I usually stick with the 28mm, as i enjoy wide angle. Edit: heres my camera... http://herron.50megs.com/DTL.htm although i use different lenses. Mine would be the 1000DTL, (Silver/black) Whoa.. 1966, they were produced... jeez, im running an antique.
navyplaya
Hey LP, Not bad pictures. The one that sticks out to me is the first one, but there are still a few things that could be fixed. Try editing out the light, is what I think it is, hanging from the rail almost right in the middle of the picture. And also a little faster shutter speed could have made the skater crisper, right now he is a little blurry. Other than that, great photo, I really like the shadow that the angle creates. The second photo: Personally I don't like the angle very much, it fits in with the sign, but it makes the bench look weird. Also with this kind of photography you 'want to tell a story' (lame cliche yes i know but really), and for this photo its almost like you have the introduction and the conclusion, but theres not any body. Does that make since at all? Third one: I think I would like this photo more if the lights weren't so distracting. I like the setting, the whole aly way thing, but the reflections of the lights are just to much for me to handle. Fourth one: To be honest, I can't even tell whats going on. But it looks cool :P. Anyways, nice stuff over all. Hope my crits help 8-) -All sigs by me.[My Gallery]
woopidoo2
First of all, its great that you took the effort to use that old analog camera. In my oppinion, the first one is best. The moment was just right, a black and white version like this would look better then a colored one. The second photo has a big contrast. I think it is too big, you cant really focus on anything. (The man, or the sign?) The last 2 are abstract, turned out nice also. Do you have a digital camera also? (I thought you had one) Anyway, keep it up. Theyre great, people can learn from this. WutangFlu
Do you have a digital camera also? (I thought you had one) I don't have my own, i've borrowed a DSLR from a friend of mine a while back, you make have seen the pictures i did with that. otherwise i have a 2mp Kodak from 1998, which works for snap shots... but im going to try and get myself a nice DSLR this summer. @navyplaya -about the shutter speed, when i was doing that shoot i was using 500-1000th of a sec. shots, i dont know if 500 is to slow though? possibly when i was developing them in the dark room something was slightly out of focus on the machine. & the 4th one is a light tower by the airport in my town (top one is rotating) the bottom two are some type of streetlight, and the distorted effect on this picture, and the last one came from water droplets on the lenses.. Thanks for the crits, ill keep them all in mind when i develop and shoot my next assignment for school. Expect more skate oriented ones, as its my theme for my final project. *me needs a slide scanner :P* Edit: I fixed some of the things that were critiques that were bad

Evilperson
I really like the first one. The second one uses nice use of playing with the light. The others are interesting, but hard to tell the actual subject of the photo. Everybody lovin' it, but ain't no body touchin' it
