Maybe I'll make it? Lacarnaya Posted May 12, 2007 Author Share Posted May 12, 2007 Alot of people seem to say that giving newbies items will only make them noobs, or that it is better if we hire them to do some manual labor and then teach them some stuff. I would first like to say this: We do not simply trade a bunch of level 3s and then give them free stuff. This may have occured in past NADs, but this year I am hoping that we will be able to spend more time with individual newbies, and observe them for a minute before giving them any free items. Knowledge is great in the beginning, but it doesn't mean that items are useless. Do you think that newbs would not become noobs if they received nothing? Not all beggars get what they ask for, but that does not mean they stop begging. People who become beggars and sponges do so because their already set personality and mindset is that way.
