Well I tried darker text and lighter bg, ill remake a whole nother one and post later.

why do almost all people on here use tutorials, thats pathetic it takes no skill to read a tutorial those backrounds can be made by anyone. they jsut got to go to good-tutorials.com and they will ALL be there i can almost garentee it.
