i think its non-steam because i bought a fake cd of the game in usa currency is like 2.5USD and it came without steam but i created a steam account and it looks like i need to buy the game from them

Free after you buy it, but if you have no skill at FPS at ALL, you'll get rolled and stomped on, so I suggest Quake or something. Play CS if you like playing competitively, cause the DeathMatch on CS is horrible.
