Kurask task.... do it or not?

Well, what would you do? Personally I hate the spear... don't want to use the bow and arrows, and slayer dart is too expensive for just this task... But I seem to be getting a lot of Kurask tasks and I hate to constantly Burthorpe my tasks. What advice would you guys give me?

Thanks for the not very useful reply. If you don't know, don't reply. Ofcourse I tried it... I said I don't like the task because of the weapons I'm forced to use. But I get them a lot so constantly Burthorping is getting irritating. Surely reading isn't too much asked?

Well what slayer master do you use? the shilo one? cause he gives lots of high level assingments, where as the lost city one tends to give more of your highest level, so maybe switch slayer masters and see if it helps. (dont yell at me if I didn't help...)

I might want to try that. I'm using Chaeldar (Zanaris) for convenience... but perhaps Duradel will grant me more useful tasks.

Probably ranging it would be the best approach, there's a safespot for them though.

Oh I didn't know that. I've searched there but couldn't find any. Do you have more details on the safespot?

You can safe spot everything on the corners of rocks and trees, since monsters move from east to west before they move north to south you can get one stuck on stuff. Lets draw you a picture:

And you'll end up like so...

And in that position you can range stuff safely. (note, the top of my map is north)

There are rocks right by the entrance to the kurask room that you can use, but you ca only reach a few from there, and one can come at a different angle and attack you.

 

 

 

The rocks on the other side of the room ar much better. I think its the NW corner. there is a small 1 square wide path between the rocks and the wall you can slip in, and the kurasks can't reach you.
